profile As a young designer my goal is to expand my knowledge and experience of the Architecture and Design Industry.
I would
like to one day contribute my expertise to a design team and help transform an idea to physical reality. To do this I strive to understand how people interact within built-environments and their aesthetics. Evidence-based design I believe is the key to innovation and creating the most functional, practical and sustainable designs of today’s world.

Workspaces
The proposed design of IDEO’s corporate office at 183 Bathurst St. expresses notions of an electric Toronto where hard lines defining new boundaries meet like lightning in the sky. A meeting place where power and solid surfaces meet and create a boom that raises the hair on your skin. This is how boardroom and meeting space designs should be. Lines jutting out from the core of the space to define workspaces where great ideas begin and explode like lightning and Toronto. 2012

PRESENTING FORTRESS STREWN WINERY RENOVATION
STREWN FORTRESS STREWN WINERY RENOVATION Strewn Winery holds great pride in their wine and brand image. Evoking notions of strength and conďŹ dence the newly re-designed Strewn Winery has the skin of a Fortress. The winery now portrays fortress-like retreat with symmetry and hierarchy in its architectural elements. The new interior celebrates the Strewn brand. The historic cannery buildings that were Strewn are the bones of this Fortress and are preserved as a sign of perseverance and conďŹ dence. The new image of Strewn Winery is one that will withstand the test of time just as the grapes have in the vast Strewn Vineyard. 2013

PRESENTING VIEWPOINT A COTTAGE ON GEORGIAN BAY
VIEWPOINT A COTTAGE ON GEORGIAN BAY Designed for an artist couple, this cottage reflects the natural formation of a Georgian Bay Island. The design is much like a “jump off of a cliff” into the wide-open bay, or like the view standing on the edge of a pointed island. As a comparison to the connection between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron, the cottage design includes a large dining and living area where group gatherings can go uninterrupted. This design also includes a paint/write studio and a guest Bunkie which reflects similar design ideals as the main Cottage. 2013

The inspiration for “Atlas” is derived from the idea that shoes travel just as much as the traveler. The entire design is based on luxurious air travel in a gallery style layout. This diverse travel concept aims to bring pleasant travel memories to the shoppers. 2013

PRESENTING SMALL CHANGES, BIG DIFFERENCE MOBILE EXHIBIT DESIGN
SMALL CHANGES, BIG DIFFERENCE MOBILE EXHIBIT DESIGN In this exhibit proposal the goal was to create an environment that got people moving without imposing the often-daunting notion of “working-out”. This exhibit takes place inside of an 18-wheeler’s trailer and is designed to activate the mind as well as the body. If people can motivate themselves enough to do a few small things, big results will follow. This idea is also embedded in the design as a way to educate people in taking action for the environment. The project was conceived in four weeks by a team of four Interior Design students and placed in a province wide competition where it was selected to compete nationally. 2013
