GIULIANO SANCHEZ • DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

Sanchez will enter his fourth year at Jesuit Dallas, and his third as the director of athletic performance. Joining the staff as the assistant director of athletic performance in 2018, Sanchez served as an intern for the Michigan State strength and conditioning department after stops at Colorado Mesa University, Muir Orthopedic Specialists and the University of Denver.

Sanchez graduated from Louisiana State University with a master’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in exercise physiology. Sanchez earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in fitness and health promotion from Colorado Mesa University in 2014. A lacrosse player at Colorado Mesa University, Sanchez was a two-time team captain and All-Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association team selection.

NICK SEXTON • ASST. DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

Sexton enters his third season at Jesuit Dallas after spending six years as a strength and conditioning coach at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Sexton also spent time at Florida Atlantic University, Florida State University and was an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern during the spring 2016 semester.

A certified strength and conditioning specialist and sports nutritionist, Sexton earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and health promotion in 2012 at Florida Atlantic University before earning his master’s degree in health science with a concentration in sports medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2015.

Aberger enters his first year on the Jesuit Dallas staff after graduating from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in biology. A former student athletic trainer for the Fighting Irish football team, Aberger is a member of the Jesuit Dallas Alumni Service Corps.

The Alumni Service Corps (ASC) is a volunteer opportunity available to Jesuit Dallas graduates to devote a year of their lives in service and thanksgiving for their Jesuit education. It is a unique opportunity for participants to give back to their alma mater during a year between college and a career or graduate school.

RICK MARTIN • HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER

Beginning his 27th year as the head athletic trainer at Jesuit Dallas, Martin is a board-certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Texas and an American Heart Association BLS instructor.

A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Martin has worked in the clinical setting, including a tenure at the collegiate level with Yale University. In addition, Martin served as a secondary level athletic trainer in Connecticut, New York and Texas prior to arriving at Jesuit Dallas. Martin earned his master’s of science from Central Connecticut State University.Martin, his wife Jane, and twin sons Andrew and Garrett are strong supporters of Jesuit Dallas.

TODD HOLMES • ATHLETIC TRAINER

Holmes begins his fifth year on the Ranger athletic training staff. Certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) in the state of Texas, Holmes graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s in kinesiology and sports medicine.

After a one-year stint as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Arkansas, Holmes began a 23-year stint as an athletic trainer at Lake Highlands. He also spent one year at Episcopal School of Dallas before arriving at Jesuit. Holmes is the proud father of two daughters, Sydney and Katie.

ROBERT DUVALL • ATHLETIC TRAINER

Dr. Duvall begins his second year on the Jesuit Dallas athletic training staff, and has over 30 years of experience in sports medicine. He specializes in 3-D biomechanics, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercises as they relate to all sports.

Dr. Duvall received both a master’s in of physical therapy (MPT) in 1998 and his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) in 2004 from Shenandoah University. He was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Virginia Tech where he received a bachelor’s in biology in 1991, and completed two years of graduate work in exercise physiology. He owned and operated physical therapy clinics and sports performance centers while serving as lead physical therapist for the Washington Football Team.
