“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” (John 12:24) May 21st, 1986 – My parents and my younger sister Angel were travelling towards the Chennai airport by car. Suddenly, a bus crashed into the car and there was a terrible accident. In that accident, both of my father’s hands and my mother’s neck were fractured. My sister Angel was battling for her life at Chennai Chrompet Govt. Hospital but she could not be saved. On 28th of May, in the midst of many tears from swarms of people, we buried the body of Angel.

Angel, a child of heart In 1968, my father was working in Mettur, Tamil Nadu. When my mother was very close to delivery, my father admitted her in one of the CSI Hospitals at Erode. On November 4th, my sister Angel was born. When Angel was a child, my father suffered from a lung infection. Whenever he lovingly approached to kiss Angel, he would think that his disease might affect the child and would hold back. After his disease was cured, he kissed his daughter to his heart’s content and cherished her.

A kernel of wheat planted At seventeen years of age, while she was awaiting her results of her 12th Board exams, Angel joined the kingdom of God. The last thing Angel wrote in her diary was, “What I love most are my father’s kisses”. On loosing such a loving child, my mother and father were heartbroken. Many out of jealousy reproached us saying, “Dhinakaran would no longer exist; his ministry would come to an end.” Some even reproved my father stating that, “The Lord took his daughter because he did not go by the will of the Lord”. One day when we knelt down for our family prayer as we usually do, the Holy Spirit, came upon us and consoled our broken hearts with prophetical words. KARUNYA PROJECT ANNOUNCED

The great command of the Lord “When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”...Go in the strength you have...The LORD answered, “I will be with you....” (Judges 6:12-16) In 1981, in the month of May, the Lord spoke to my father and gave him a command to establish a Christian University. When my father saw the magnitude of 4

the Lord’s plan, he was stunned. He was unable to take any measures regarding this in the midst of his work and the ‘Jesus Calls’ Ministry. In May 1984, when my father was praying in Jerusalem, Israel, the Lord spoke to my father regarding this plan again and affirmed it. The Lord stressed that this educational institution should provide the best technological education, best food, sports coaching and that the students are to be trained in a godly way. My father pleaded to God, “Lord, this is a very big plan, I do not have experience for this, leave me, use someone else to fulfil this, it is impossible for me to do this”. The Lord ordered, “I saw your truthfulness in little things. You should fulfil this work.” During the month of October, 1984, my father consulted God fearing scholars and social personalities since he did not have any experience in the field of education. It was then, he realized that it required a large sum of money to start an educational institution. To get the financial support was a difficult task.

The place the Lord showed “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey!...” (Numbers 13:27) In a vision, the Lord showed to my father a place filled with natural resources to start the educational institution. Not knowing where such a place is situated, my father shared this vision to God’s children who were well-wishers in the ministry. One day, a

pastor informed my father that there is a place near Coimbatore like the one in the vision and took him there. My grandfather Mr. Duraisamy, in his old age, in that unknown place walked up and down and with great difficulty bought the place for laying down the foundation for the Karunya Educational Institution. In 1985, my father crossed over to full time ministry and quit his worldly job as he submitted himself to do full time ministry unto the Lord. When the construction work of Karunya was still going on, my father and my mother went to the Syndicate Bank in Mangalore to get a loan for the same.. My sister, who had completed her exams and who was having her holidays said, “I will also go with you” and accompanied them. It was during this time while travelling for the great cause of Karunya, her blood was shed.

A simple Beginning “Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” (Job 8:7) Even in the midst of the agony of losing Angel, my father decided to fulfil the plan of the Lord. , With great difficulty, he organised the Inauguration of karunya institute of technology and sciences on October 4th, 1986. The then Honorable Minister of Human Resources Department, Mr. Arjun Singh declared the college open. The college was started with three departments; Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communications with 180 students amidst a spread of 150 acres of

land with some buildings and accommodation facility. Karunya was functioning with an affiliation to Bharathiar University in Coimbatore. Even during the initial years, the students of Karunya performed well and got various awards at the University level. According to the vision given by the Lord, the Lord graciously helped us to buy the land so that Karunya can be established as a university. At present, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences is functioning with a spread of 700 acres of land at the foothills of Siruvani.

The Lord alone lead “The LORD alone led him.....” (Deuteronomy 32:12) In 1995, Karunya received the award for the best engineering college. In 1999, among the self-financed engineering colleges, Karunya was the first to get Autonomous status. In 2004, it also received the status of deemed to be university. In 2005, the food processing research lab was established. In 2008, the water institute was established. From 2011, the first solar and wind energy research labs started to function. In 2014, it received the accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2018, the university was ranked 89 among the universities in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), and among the engineering colleges it was ranked 72. At present, around 8491 students both boys and girls in 18 departments are studying in Karunya. Educational scholarships With the ideology that no deserving student should be denied of the opportunity to avail technological education and higher education, deserving boys and girls are given a scholarship of Rs. 5 crores for the academic year 2018-2019. The female candidates have special scholarships. â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Jesus Callsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; Young Partners, brothers and sisters of students who are studying in Karunya, for the children of Karunya alumnus, for the children of pastors and missionaries special scholarships are given.

Other facilities Every year in the month of September, in the area of sports, the South Indian Intercollegiate tournament is being conducted at Karunya. There are 24 labs for the students to practice. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girl students. A main library and a studentâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s library are functioning in a way that can be used by the student at any time. To conduct prayer meetings, seminars, Training workshops, there are halls namely Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Centre, Immanuel and El Shadai. A police station, post office and banks are also present in Karunya Nagar making it a complete township. All the students who graduated from Karunya are now testifying about God and are shining like stars in their respective fields. Till date, 28000 students both boys 6

and girls have graduated from Karunya. From the academic year 2003-2004 till date, 10465 students (boys and girls) have been recruited through campus interview. Students from various countries also come here for their education. Karunya also has student and faculty exchange programmes, which enable the exchange of students and faculty with other countries who have well advanced technologies. In 1995, Karunya International boarding School started to function. It serves as the Karunya Christian School, following CBSE syllabus. There are 430 students (boys and girls) studying in this school.

Medical service In 1989, Karunya community hospital began. Now it is serving as the Seesha Karunya Rural Community Hospital with 30 beds and with 150 out patients every day. Till date, thousands have received Medical help. Every year the Lord is expanding the educational service of Karunya in many ways. Students from various cultures, languages, states and countries, are educated in a godly environment and are evolving to be Josephs’, Daniels’ and Esthers’ and are placed at high places in the world. My father would always recall that, “all the buildings in Karunya are standing on Angel’s blood”. He always insisted that the students

should honour the Lord, by communicating to the students, the vision the Lord gave about Karunya, and how the Lord’s ministers, his family sacrificed for the purpose. Whenever we get time, we recall this great plan and vision of the Lord for this educational institution to the parents and students again and again. Continue to pray for Karunya. According to the Lord, the purpose of karunya is to give solutions to humanity by the researches done in Karunya. When we planted one Angel for establishing the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, thousands of Angels are developing today. Due to the special scholarships, Karunya is able to give an opportunity to women to get Technological education. By getting educated in a godly environment, they are able to shine like a light among people all around the world and spread the word of the Lord like Angels.

“This is my resting place forever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.” (Psalm 132:14) In 1984, in the month of October, the Lord gave a vision to my father, to build a place of healing for His people. He also explained that this place should be situated near the Karunya Engineering College. The vision was that, there should be a place for people to come and pray with faith and to receive miracles from the Lord, just like how the Lord healed the diseased when He lived in this world. Accordingly, the Bethesda International prayer centre was established around 10.5 acres of land. There is a main hall, a Bethesda pool similar to the one in the Bible, and near that 5 small meditation chambers are also structured. In October 10th 1993, the Stations of the Cross and the Lord’s resurrection were also displayed. It is structured in such a way that, when people who do not know about the Lord see this, they will realize how the Lord suffered for the sins of humanity and accept the love of the Lord. Vision Centre is structured where a security guard working in the campus of Karunya saw the face of the Lord in the midst of light. People either as a group or individually can meditate in the Prayer Dome or the Vision Centre around the Bethesda pool. They can also get prayed and counselled by the prayer intercessors. For the past 25 years, many have received consolation, power and have received the miracles from the Bethesda Prayer Centre. On the mark of its Silver Jubilee, the Bethesda Prayer Centre has been renovated and various facilities are made available. Surely the renovated Bethesda would enable you to spend your holidays peacefully and happily and will revive your heart.

I would like to thank God for all the things He has done in my life so far.

In 2013, God helped me to get admission in a reputed university in Germany for my doctoral work with full financial aid, which was way beyond my imagination. He provided me with a wonderful Advisor who is a doctorate with fatherly instincts. He provided me with opportunities to work in various projects and hone my skills during this time. In November 2017, I graduated with honors and obtained the title of a ‘Doctor’. I consider this another big milestone in my life. The best part of this journey was that even before my graduation, I could obtain a job as a scientist in the semiconductor division of Carl Zeiss, a world-renowned company, purely by God’s grace. I am now working here as a fulltime employee. It is unbelievable for a girl who was born and raised in a small Indian town in South India, Kanyakumari, to reach this epitome of success. Without God in my life, all this could never have happened. It is purely by His favor and blessings that I am placed in a worldrenowned company. At this juncture, I feel compelled to say how my undergraduate studies at Karunya paved way for the girl I am today. Needless to

say, the motivation I received from the morning assembly sessions, caring faculty members, the lessons I had learned through interesting experiences during my stay at the hostel, the friendships I earned are all moments that brought me closer to God. The practical sessions held at the lab were the most enjoyable time, as I could get my hands dirty and work on circuits. Once the designed circuit worked, it brought us immense joy. The memories from Karunya are irreplaceable and can never be forgotten. To conclude, I would like to tell everyone that we need to work hard and have God as priority in our lives. When hard work combines with God’s grace, nothing can stop us to reach the pinnacle of victory. As God has helped me to join the scientific community, I pray God to give me more wisdom and strength to work hard to solve different problems beneficial to the human race. You will see a new birth, new life, new revelation, new move of God, new miracle and new grace overflowing in the days to come. Do you know why? So, that you can give new spiritual birth to sons and daughters! This is the move of 12

God that is going to happen in the last days. I strongly believe it is going to happen to you and through you from this very moment.

CHILDREN, THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB “Children are a heritage from the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward.” (Psalm 127:3) There are two things mentioned in this verse: One is ‘children’ and the other is ‘fruit of the womb’. The fruit of the womb refers to a biological child; it’s a reward from

the Lord for their faithfulness as husband and wife to each other.

“Yet you say, for what reason? Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the

Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.” (Malachi 2:14-15) When the husband is faithful to his wife and vice-versa, God becomes the witness between them and makes them produce godly offspring-a generation of prophets of God. The relationship between a husband and wife plays an important role for children to become prophets of God, and to raise them up as prophets for His kingdom, whether they are biological or they are spiritual children. It all starts from the family. The statement ‘children are a heritage’ refers to both biological and / or your spiritual children that are a heritage to you. They will carry your heritage; they will carry the word that is in your lips and they will carry the spirit that is upon you. They are the prophets. How do we give birth to prophets? Hannah and Elkanah: When Hannah was distressed because she did not conceive a child, Elkanah, her husband who loved her dearly, said, “Hannah, am I not better to you than ten sons” (1 Samuel 1:8). The relationship between them was so full of love and affection which brought about the birth of Samuel the prophet through the womb of Hannah.

Joseph and Mary: Though Joseph and Mary did not have a physical relationship, yet Joseph cared for Mary because of the word of God that came to him to take care of Mary as his wife and Mary was submissive to Joseph. Wherever he had to go, Mary went along with him, because of their bond in marriage, whether it was to Bethlehem or to Egypt, she just followed him, and there was born from Mary’s womb the greatest Prophet, “a Prophet mighty in deed and word” the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 24:19). Zechariah and Elizabeth: Zechariah served the Lord in the Temple and Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit, was prophesying at home. What a relationship between them! God waited for the right time for a prophet to be born in the womb of Elizabeth, a prophet to run before Jesus, although, it was a long wait for the couple to align with God’s timing. Sometimes you have to wait, be it a spiritual wait or a physical one, for a child to be formed or for an idea to become a reality - but it has a time - God’s time! Jacob and Rachel: They loved each other and at the right time they brought forth Joseph to be a prophet to Pharaoh’s kingdom. Amram and Jochebed: Moses, the great prophet who delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt, was born to Amram, a Levite priest and his wife Jochebed. They were united in protecting their child

Moses for the sake of the kingdom of God. The relationship between a husband and wife is of vital importance to be one in the mission to bring forth prophets of God in the family and in the world. That’s the grace that God is going to give to each one of you, because you have been faithful in your family life.

ONE IN THE SPIRIT My father and mother were married for forty nine years, and during that period they have shared many experiences and they were together all the time. My mother never went out to preach, never stood on a public platform, until my father passed away. When my father started preaching, I was a little child and I remember how my mother carried a bag containing Horlicks, a bottle of hot water, cold water and a towel. She would sit somewhere near the platform to refresh my father with the beverage. In those days, we would stay in the homes of hosting pastors and they would offer a single bed for my father but my mother and I would sleep on the floor. One day when my mother was praying at home, the Holy Spirit led my father to lay his hands on her, and immediately she began to speak in new tongues. The Holy Spirit flowed through her, and God built both of them together to be faithful to God all their lives, www.jesuscalls.org - May 2018

faithful to each other and a model & a blessing to millions.

AUTHORITY UPON WIFE "For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy." (1 Corinthians 7:14) Many times when prophecies are uttered, there will be a time of chastening before its fulfillment. This is a time of cleansing and preparation for what God wants to fulfill in your life. Sometimes the path can be fiery but it is meant only to burn every pomp and pride that will come in the way. It is meant to remove everything that is of the flesh. One can even question ‘what happened to all the prophecies?’ It will come to pass; you have to wait for it. Before that, you have to go through fire and water for God’s will to be perfected in your life. Only when we are perfected and humbled before God, His word will come true in our lives. The same thing happened when my father was afflicted with tuberculosis. He was vomiting blood at the age of 34. Until then, he was preaching on the streets but God had spoken that He was going to put him on the public platform and he would have to preach to hundreds of thousands 14

of people. However, the first thing that happened after that prophecy was his lung failure. As he continued to vomit blood, the day came when he couldn’t bear it any longer. Darkness surrounded him. As he could not find the presence of God, he called my mother, (I was seven years old at that time and my sister Angel was just born) and said, “I am

going away, I can’t even breathe. God will take care of you and our children; I have lived a righteous life before God.” My mother filled with the Holy Spirit said, “You will not die, but you will live, (simply) because God has spoken that you have to touch millions of people, so you will live” and God said,

“Amen” to what my mother said and raised up my father. He lived 39 years after that. What a great God we serve! Every time in our family prayer, my father filled with the Holy Spirit would prophesy to my mother. She never prophesied but spoke words of faith since she would believe in my father’s prophesy and pray that into being. She did not have the need to prophesy because she would speak words of faith quoting his prophesies and raise my father from his death bed, heart aches, fears and so on. As a result, God raised our family, to stand before God and to proclaim his word. God has raised thousands of pastors and evangelists with prophetic anointing.

HUSBAND AND WIFE BUILD TOGETHER “They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit..... They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:21-24) God expects husbands and wives to come together to build and to inhabit. He also expects them to plant vineyards, and eat from them. When they agree to build and plant together everything becomes possible (Matthew 18:19). This is

because He wants to live in their hearts and home to fulfill His purposes for them. As a bank officer, my father was earning quite a large amount in 1967, and yet there was much poverty at home. We would not have money to sustain till the end of the month, rather we would run dry by the third week of the month. My mother never had a domestic help or a cook. She would do everything. She didn’t have many clothes and they could not afford to buy a pair of pants for me and that’s how bad our financial situation was. My father would use his personal money to preach the gospel in the streets. One day when my father brought home his salary, he called me and my mother and he put into my hands the bundle of new currency notes (as a banker he could get his salary in new currency notes in the year 1967). Then they knelt down beside me and they together held my hand with the currency in it. My father cried to God, “Lord, let this poverty end today. As we give to You and Your ministry, have mercy upon us.” I was 5 years old at that time. In that act of oneness, the Holy Spirit came upon my father and the Lord said, “My son Dhinakaran, I am going to bless you and your ministry in the days to come. It is going to grow tremendously across the world and you will handle large amounts of money. I wanted to test you whether you are faithful

in small things, whether you are faithful with your salary, whether you use it for Me in the midst of your need, whether you value your money more than Me. Now I have seen that you are faithful. So, from today I will bless you.” My parents agreed and planned together in the presence of God to continue to serve the Lord in the midst of their severe financial stringency and that’s why God’s prophetic promise came to them as stated in Isaiah 65:24, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”

PROPHECY FULFILLED After my father’s Home call in 2008, the Lord told me, “I will be a Father to you and you are My son.” By the grace of God, the mantle of responsibility fell on me. When my father left, we had huge amounts of debt in Jesus Calls and Karunya but the Holy Spirit showed me what to do in the ministry. He said, “Expand the ministry in the midst of debt. Go across the world, not just India and plant my Prayer Tower in Jerusalem and across the world and begin to pray for the nations of the world.” We began to obey God and my wife said, “I will follow you wherever you go” and my children said, “Whichever school you put us in, we will come with you, as you are more important to us than our friends. We will plant together.”

By the grace of God, in nearly 2 years’ time, God completely removed the debt we had for 40 years! By His grace, God has been providing all our needs on time. Today we are able to do, hundred times more than what we did earlier. Two people; my father and mother planted this vineyard together. They never complained about each other but said, “We will plant, we will build,” and today God has given us the increase. Today my wife & I, along with our children and my dear mother agree on hearing God through prophesy during our family prayer. We are able to see the prophetic grace flow even through our children and God’s provision for the prophetical word to be fulfilled. Many times when we get a prophecy we say, ‘Where is the provision?’ It will come, when husband and wife are faithful to each other to plant according to God’s direction trusting in Him and in each other. When they are united and plant together in the kingdom of God, in the midst of any lack they will not blame each other, saying, that one of them is a spend-thrift. Their unity and faithfulness will give birth to prophets, and they will build houses. They will build vineyards. Their children will do the will of God with great ease. The time has come for you as a family to rise up and build as Nehemiah built the wall which was broken around Jerusalem. Yes, it was the families which built it in each place (Neh. 2:18; 3:1-32; 6:15).

YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE MIGHTY “Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.” (Psalm 112:1-2) Look at Job and his wife, they did not agree with each other. As Job was praying for his children, his wife did not join with him. When Job was in distress, all that she did was criticize him but God built the life of Job again through

today, the family of David is called the royal family of Israel. They had a prophetic anointing to build a nation.

the same wife and blessed him with a long life to see four generations. Their daughters were extremely beautiful who had the unusual blessing of getting an equal share of inheritance along with their brothers! (Job 42:12-17). They were together in this mission praying. David and Bathsheba, since they got together through an unholy relationship, their child died. When they got together according to the will of God (as husband and wife in a holy manner), their son Solomon was born who ruled the nation with wisdom (2 Samuel 12:24-25; 1 Kings 3:5-27). Even 16

When husband and wife unite in the mission that God has given them, they will build a prophetic nation. The economy will get upgraded to fulfill the will of God.

PROPHESYING GOD’S PLAN My friend, you will have a mission in building the house. For the prophecy to be fulfilled in Abraham’s life, God said:

“For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do

righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” (Genesis 18:19) The Lord said that Abraham will show Isaac what to do and then the prophetic plan for Abraham will come to pass when he takes care of his children. We should not just tell them what to do but to wait at His feet to get His prophetic plan for our children and give it to them. That’s why Isaac sowed and he reaped a hundred times. God will give you the prophetic guidance for the sake of your children. You will know what God’s plan is for your children and you need not advise them. You will prophesy God’s plan into their lives and they will see you praying and fasting to get that word and they will humble themselves before you and they will adore you, because they know God speaks to them through you. It will be so easy to bring up your children and walk in the prophetic realm. This is what unites the parents and children. Whenever the children have to write their exams, my wife Evangeline would fast and pray the whole day for them. That’s why they are blessed; God is giving you the grace to do that. Then the families become prophetic families, prophesying to each other and building them up.

“Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are signs and wonders in Israel from the LORD of

hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.” (Isaiah 8:18) You are the sign to your children. This is the grace of God that is coming upon you. And He said to me, ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.’(Revelation 10:11). What will happen to the children of God’s servants in 2018? Your children, having risen up in life, will rise up and call you blessed. Everything that has affected your children in 2017 will be removed. God will compensate

it, and your children will say, “Because you served the Lord, I have risen up in life.” In 2017, the devil has affected the lives of your children but in 2018 you will see the rejoicing of your children, your spiritual children and your family. You will all rejoice in the power of the Holy Spirit, just like the child leaped in the womb of Elizabeth when Mary greeted her! PRAYER: “Let every son and daughter enter into the prophetic realm this year. Let them be blessed with a prophetic blessing this year. Every blessing that the devil has

stolen from our children, let it come upon them in double fold with overflowing joy in their lives in 2018 in the name of Jesus. Let every son and daughter jump with joy. I am doing church ministry in Sendamangalam village in Namakkal district. Conducting the worship service in a small shed which had only ordinary stone tiles roofing was very difficult. The church believers found it very inconvenient and moreover the space was too small to accommodate the congregation. We as a church were praying for a bigger place. At this time, unexpectedly we received Rs. 2 lakhs for church construction from the Jesus Calls ministry. With that amount we could build a big shed with the aluminium roofing. My beloved in the ministry of the Lord, The Lord has rescued, carried and sustained you for the past four months. He has protected you and your children. He blessed the work of your hands and your business. This month, the Lord shall crown you with holiness, and pour His blessings upon you as sacred anointing oil, especially to all those of you who are shouldering this ministry, as stated in Exodus 39:30; Psalm 133:3.

According to the guidance given by the Lord to my father, late Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, the Bethesda Prayer Centre at Karunya Nagar in Coimbatore was established very similar to the one we see in the Bible. We have set

up the Stations of the Cross in a realistic manner in Bethesda, for the people who do not know much about the Lord, to know about the sufferings He underwent for us, the insults He faced, His resurrection and that He lives even today.

As the academic year draws to a close, the schools holidays have begun and the month of May is usually the time to plan your vacations to different travel destinations with your family and friends. Travelling would surely

revive your mind to break away from your routine. During your vacation, do not forget to include and visit the Bethesda Prayer Centre as part of your trip. We have facilities for all visitors to meditate in the presence of the Lord and to pray along with the prayer intercessors. The magazine ministry was started at a small scale in the month of May, in 1973. Here is an amazing testimony of a student blessed through Jesus Calls ministry..... During the academic year 2016-2017, I was studying my 10th std. In December 2016, my grandfather suddenly passed away. Because I loved him so much, his demise broke me, so much so that I could not concentrate in my studies. When my exams approached near, my mother became bed ridden. My grandfather’s death and my mother’s sickness shattered me. In this situation, in 2017, my father brought me to attend the Students Meet at Chennai. The message given by uncle Paul Dhinakaran strengthened me and encouraged me to study. I received the students prayer card and used that prayer before every exam. God kept me in perfect peace and good health during the exam days. He gave me sufficient wisdom to write my exams. The results were published and I scored centum in two subjects. God graciously blessed me with Tamil-98, English-97, Maths-100, Science-98, Social Science – 100, with a total of 493 out of 500. One day, God commanded them saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die" (Genesis 2:16,17). Since they failed to obey this word, both of them lost that divine presence. On the other hand, Peter who obeyed the Lord’s word, tasted miracles and became His devotee. Once, to preach to the people, Jesus searches for a boat on the shore. Seeing Peter wearily washing his nets, having failed to catch any fish despite toiling the whole night, He gets in to the boat and after the sermon tells him, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch" Peter said,

‘"Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net"(Luke 5:5). In that instant, God does a miracle and made him catch a great number of fish and their net was breaking. Immediately Peter fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!" The Lord said to him, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men". Yes, Simon humbled himself, listened to the Lord’s word and obeyed because of which the Lord Jesus did a miracle and changed him into a vessel of blessing. When the Angel of God came to Mary, the Lord’s mother (unmarried then),he revealed the will of the Father saying, ‘Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS’, she could have easily got scared and told him, ‘Let this not happen to me’. Yet, she said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38). As a result, she got the privilege of becoming the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as to be called as the most blessed among women, by others. Psalmist David says, ‘My eyes are awake through the night watches, That I may meditate on Your word’ (Psalm 119:148). David was a king and hence he might have had plenty of things to do. Yet, he did not say that he had no time but says that he rose early to read and meditate the Scriptures. 36

Some of the pastors used to stay in our house. They would getup as early as 4 O’ Clock in the morning and would be reading the Bible in torch light so as not to wake us up by switching on the light. By 6 AM they would have finished reading the Bible and praying and would take bath and be ready. When we used to sit for family prayer at 6 O’ clock, they would also sit with us and give us apt godly counsels. Servants of God who thus get up early in the morning and interact with God are the genuine servants.

A brother, though a Christian, never used to read the Bible. He would never seek after things pertaining to the Lord. He, who was leading such a life, was once afflicted with a terrible disease. The doctors who tested him said that he would not survive. His conditions worsened day by day and he suffered a lot. One day, when he was in utter misery, he happened

to see a Bible on his bedside and he, who had never touched it, opened it, half heartedly. His eyes fell upon the following verse: “For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:22). He was amazed to read this. The next day he read many more verses. He started experiencing the power and life of the Scriptures in his body. In due course, the doctors could find clarity in his face and tested him. They were awestruck to see that a miracle had happened in his body. He then pointed out the Bible to them and said that it was the cause for the miracle. He read that particular verse to them. That very day, he fully committed his life to the Lord. Even today he is doing ministry for the Lord, along with his family.

So, learn to honour the Lord’s word. The more you read

Even in this situation, cling on to the Lord’s feet just like that sinful woman by saying, “Lord, I am a sinner; cleanse me and sanctify me” and hold on to Him, telling Him, “You are my portion, O LORD” (Psalm 119: 57). “I cry out to the LORD with my voice; With my voice to the LORD I make my supplication. I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble” (Psalm 142: 1,2) Just like the Psalmist who cried unto the Lord thus, you may also call unto Him. He would hear you and save you out of all your troubles (Psalm 34:6). His blood will cleanse you from all your sins (I John 1:7). Sis. Protected from danger Mrs. Gomathy of our Esther Prayer Group was the only one who knew the Lord in her family. Her son-in-law was very sick and nearing death. TESTIMONIES OF SRI LANKA MEETINGS... Miraculous healing of my husband Yesterday, on the first day of the meeting, I came with great agony regarding different familial issues. However, God answered my prayers that were a burden in my heart. After the meeting, I felt great peace and felt a heavy burden being lifted from my heart when I went home. y dear sisters, we read this wonderful promise in Romans 4:17. In this world, when it comes to ‘deficits’, we see so many wants and needs in everyone’s life and how they suffer because of that. Particularly, if childlessness is taken as an example of a ‘lack’ in family life, it could be seen that several women – even families – are living in tears. How to be delivered from such kinds of lacks? How would they turn out to be ‘the existing ones’? – We are going to learn about this truth. Only one Person has the power to change the things which do not exist into things that exist. He is our beloved Saviour Jesus Christ! How to receive such blessings from Him?

our faith’ (I John 5:4). In the Bible, there was a woman named Hannah, who had a loving husband Elkanah and his other wife Peninnah. Peninnah had several children but Hannah had none. Yet, her husband loved her dearly. At this juncture, as it happens in today’s families, Hannah was made miserable by Peninnah who did not show her any love. Though Peninnah had to consider her as her sister and treat her accordingly, she provoked her out of pride that she had many children. However, what did Hannah do further? She went to the temple of the Lord and poured out her heart before Him (I Samuel 1:1-11). The Lord who hears prayers (Psalm 65:2) and who answers our cries (Psalm 34:6), granted peace in her heart and stretched forth His hands and blessed her! Since Hannah had complete trust on the Lord, He honoured her by giving her not one but many children, according to her

faith (I Samuel 2:21). He turned her sorrows into joy (John 16:20). My dear sisters, perhaps you too are childless. Or, are you languishing without money or materials or job or any other such things? The only truth that we need to learn is that the Lord Jesus alone is the One who is able to give us blessings in whatever state we are. He lovingly invites us saying, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). If you are agonizing over the lacks in your life, please kneel down right now, close your eyes, fold your hands and pour out your pleas at His feet in all reverence just as how Hannah did. ‘…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 4:7).

According to this verse, the Lord would grant you not only His divine peace but also perfect blessings ‘exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think’ (Ephesians 3:20).

The Love and Compassion of Jesus: We need to understand how glorious the Lord’s love is. It is His will to fulfill the desires of those who come to His feet and call upon Him. 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.' (Jeremiah 33:3). Doesn’t this verse explain it clearly? The Lord knows how we suffer, struggle and grieve because of wants and lacks in life. That’s why He promises to be with us when we are alone and says, ‘I am with you’. “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, and I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' (Isaiah 41:10). What a wonderful promise this is! Yes, the Bible says that He, who has promised us, ‘is faithful and who also will do it’ (I Thessalonians 5:24). Particularly, a woman, who was in agony because of flow of blood for twelve years, had faith on Jesus and came seeking His compassion. However, since there was a great multitude of people thronging Him, she could not go closer to Him.

Hence, a special faith that she would be healed by merely touching the hem of His garment rose in her as a result of which, she somehow managed to get into the crowd and touch the border of His garment. That’s all! Divine power flooded into her like electricity, according to her faith and desire and immediately her flow of blood stopped (Luke 8:43,44). Just imagine her sorrow and suffering in those 12 years! Perhaps, in this world, being a woman, you too are spending your days in difficulties

Whatever be the shortcomings in your life, do not be anxious , for God cares for you. but the Lord is full of love and compassion. Once, a woman had a terrible skin problem of psoriasis. Blood and puss oozed out as she was constantly scratching her body. She was a young girl and hence she worried deeply as to whom to approach and to whom to show her condition. She felt embarrassed to consult a doctor. At this time, one day she happened to watch the Jesus Calls TV programme. I was sharing about the divine love of the Lord and His compassion and finally when I prayed for the sick and those who languished

with lacks in life, particularly for the women, she too joined me in the prayer, with faith. The next morning when she woke up, a miracle was waiting for her. Usually she feels pain the moment she wakes up every morning since puss would have stuck on to her body. She used to suffer when she tried to remove them from her skin. However, that day, nothing happened. There was no blood or puss and her skin was dry. She was amazed. Since then, she trusted on the Lord’s love and compassion and lived as a true woman, by walking in the ways pleasing to God. Even today she is living as a testimony to this fact.

My dear sisters, whatever be the wants in your life, do not be worried. The Lord cares for you (I Peter 5:7). “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

Glory of Him, who is Mighty: We see in the Bible, Mary, the mother of Christ Jesus saying thus: “He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name” (Luke 1:49). Mary was an ordinary woman but she clung to the Lord firmly and devotedly. Hence, the Lord’s eyes were upon her. My dear sisters, how much do we love the Lord today? Do we grieve Him and accuse Him when we face even a small affliction? Do we stop reading the Bible? No, dear ones! As we sing the song, ‘Jesus is sufficient…’, let us seek Him with true heart, hold on to Him firmly under any situation and draw closer to Him with love just like Mary Magdalene. Then all the lack of peace and wants as well as the pains in our spiritual life would miraculously change. The Lord would love us and have compassion on us so that we would live with perfect peace and joy, being filled with the fullness of blessings.
