he time has come for this requirement to be fulfilled in the realm of God's chosen ones in the world today as we see the happenings in the world relating to the signs of His coming. The vision to reach the world will begin to operate. As the glory of God’s holiness flows into us, His grace for miracles will now

begin to flow to whoever calls upon His Name with sanctification. He said, “Behold I am coming quickly.'

Unless the holy fire burns within us we cannot stand before the power and the presence of God .

From now on it shall be manifested greatly in these last days. So He shall empower you with His glory of His holiness. That is going to be Jesus Calls O November 2015 O www.jesuscalls.org 4

a gift from God for you. Till now, you may have been battling to sustain the glory of His holiness.

But now on God is going to flow the glory of holiness through you.

The same glory of His holiness, mighty in word and deed, is coming upon you. You shall show the glory of God; you shall walk in the glory of God; you shall live by the glory

of His holiness.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:13).

Also all that God destined for you will come in search of you. You will never have to search for it. It will come to your children. It will come to your wife. It will come to your husband. It will come to your home. You shall have plenty in everything. You shall walk on the waters. No man shall be able to stand before you. This is the glory of His holiness that is coming to make us mighty in word and deed.

Preaching the gospel with power and living that gospel is holiness.

Mary carried Jesus “Then said Mary unto angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:34,35).

Mary asked: “How will this come to be in my life?

The angel said: “the Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” My friend, You are going to experience that from today. The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the most high will overshadow you. Confess right now – “The Power of the Most High shall over shadow me.” And because of that what will happen?

“The Holy One will be born and He will be called the Son of God. The Holy one will be born in you.

John1:1 says that the Word became flesh. The Word is none but the holy form of God. That holy thing came into the womb of Mary, and it was formed as God in flesh.

You shall have God of holiness himself being formed in you today as the power of the Most High God comes upon you. Mary brought forth the Holy One, the son of God to the whole world. Unless she had conceived the Holy One, she could not have given birth to God himself.

You cannot deliver God to the world without you being pregnant with the Holy One of God. That is why Paul says in Galatians 4:19, “My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you.” Paul was in the pains of childbirth, until the Holy One of God was formed in his life. And he had to give birth to Christ to everyone.

God expects you to become pregnant with this Holy One of God. And you have to be under the mighty power of the Holy One. You have been so. You may have lived in Christ, in the midst of all criticism, pain, sicknesses, loss. But in the midst of that you have been pregnant with the Holy One of God, longing for Jesus alone; longing for His holiness; longing for His righteousness, longing to do the works of holiness; Never opening your mouth as Mary saying you are His maid or servant. is going to be born through you and touch millions of people and you will be the most blessed among women. Now the time has come, for the power of the Most High to overshadow you. You are going to see a difference in your life. Yes, you will have the power, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Then whatever you say it will come to pass. Yes, the mountains shall be moved, the kings shall come to power as you say. Plagues will stop, seas shall open and provision shall come. The dead shall rise up and Jesus Christ will be crowned up as King of kings in the hearts of millions of people.

The next seven years you are going to see this glory of God starting from today. Are you ready for that? Get into this glory of God’s holiness. And you will rise up. You will never be destroyed. You will be the most blessed. Every one shall bless you. Every one shall honor you. No devil will be ever able to touch you. You will fulfill the will of God and live by the will of God. Let not your heart be troubled.

Joseph carried Jesus What did Joseph do? How did he carry Jesus?

If you read Matthew 1:20-25, “But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth

a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying, ‘Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel,’

interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.”

Angel says, “Joseph, take Mary as your wife and also what is conceived in her through the Holy Spirit.” Not only Mary conceived in holiness and carried the Holy One of God, God gave her a partner, Joseph, who carried the one who was pregnant with the Holy One of God. Until then he was planning to secretly send her away. But angel said: “Receive her.” Jesus said: “If you have received one of these little ones, you have received Me.” You have also received this Holy One. You will have the power to bring forth God through you.

Many times I wonder when people say: “Brother, only filth, and losses comes out of me to my family. All the time I have been sick. I have been giving only sickness to my family.” They cry: “Brother, will not any good thing come out of me?” But God says:

“My child, you will give birth to Me. Not only will you carry the glory of My holiness, but also carry the other one who carries My glory of My holiness.”

Joseph carried Mary, who carried Jesus. How did he carry her? Firstly, when Joseph woke up he did what the angel had comman ded him and took Mary home as his wife. By his obedi ence, he not only carried Mary into his life, but also Immanuel who is ‘God with us.’

As you carry a servant of God, who carries this glorious anointing of holiness, you are carrying a holy thing . So God is with you. Yes, my friends, you have been careful to fulfill everything that the Lord has shown my father Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran (late), myself and our family members all these years.

As partners you have said, “God has spoken to Bro. Paul Dhinakaran to build a Prayer Tower. I must give my offering to build that Prayer Tower.” God has spoken to Bro. Paul Dhinakaran to have the Family Blessing Plan. So, I must carry those families who are registered in that Family Blessing Plan. That’s how you have carried that holy thing which has been created by God, which God has asked me to carry. Yes, you have been faithful. You have carried this holy thing - the word that came from God. Young Partners Plan is a holy thing. Prayer Tower is a holy thing. The Family Blessing Plan is a holy thing. Festivals are a holy thing birthed

by God. Each one that we do has been birthed by God in holiness.

And you have been serving for that holiness and in His holiness. You have been serving with the anointing of holiness with all faithfulness to keep that Holy One birthed to millions of people. You have done it like Joseph did it. He received that holy thing which was formed by the power of the Most High God. Without Him providing it, we would not have it.

Every Jesus Calls partner has been birthed by holiness by God. We carry them as Joseph carried the Holy One in Mary.

Secondly, ‘Joseph had no union with Mary until she gave birth to a son.’ Joseph never mixed godliness and his natural desires. He kept it separate. We cannot mix godliness and our lusts. It never goes together. It is a holy thing. In ‘Jesus Calls’ everything has to be a holy thing. He waited until his wife delivered the holy thing. In all our operations, in all that we speak, in all that we do, in the ministry we have to birth only by godliness. Yes, I try very hard for that to happen.

Every day morning I get up and cry saying: “Lord, no lust of the flesh; no desire for money, no desire for fame should come and mix in my spirit as I have to birth holiness, the Holy One to the world.”

Thirdly, Joseph did one more thing. When his wife Mary gave birth to the holy thing the Son of God, He named Him Jesus.

Usually, the father would give his

name to his son. But he obeyed God. He gave him the name JESUS. He received the child Jesus not for his glory. Joseph received this Holy One in Mary for the glory of God. JESUS means Savior. He received this Holy One for the salvation of the whole world. We receive everyone and everything in Jesus Calls. Why? For the salvation of the whole world, through Jesus Christ. That is our only vision and mission. No other name is given under the heavens by which men shall be saved except the name of Jesus.

Is that name, that holy thing birthed in us? Today let us say: “Lord, let thy Holy Spirit come upon me. Let the power of the Most High come upon me. Otherwise, I cannot bear the glory of your holiness that is going to sweep me. Make me holy.

I want to be birthed with the Holy One, Jesus Christ for the salvation of the whole world. I want to carry the holy thing. Give me grace every moment, so that I can carry everyone and everything that pertains to Your holy work.”

‘DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EDUCATION’ CAMPAIGN SEESHA organised a mega event titled “ShikshandwaraVikas – Garvi Gujarat” in Vajpur, a village in Tapi, Gujarat. The event, aimed to bring the people together for community development through the promotion of education, was attended by more than 3000 people.

The participants of this event represented all sections of the society, such as school teachers, village leaders, self-help group members, youth groups, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and JFMC members, coming from Vajpur, Ekalkham,

Mandvipani, Movnipada, Fatepur and Pipripada villages. Several toplevel government officials including Shri. BC Patani (District Collector), Dr.Sasikumar(Dy. Conservator of Forest), Dr. G B Varma (Chief District Health Officer)and Shri. D M Chauhan (District Primary Education Officer) actively participated to extend their support to SEESHA. School kits were distributed to 1000 children on this occasion. A new tailoring centre for women and a computer centre for youth were also inaugurated on the same day.

Teachers’ Day was celebrat ed in the local Govern ment Primary Schools and 66 SEESHA Tuition Centres across all the Community Adoption Programme (CAP) areas of SEESHA,. To express their gratitude to the teachers, the children were given opportunities to deliver speeches, recite poetry, sing songs, to dance, to enact skits and to gift hand-made flowers and cards to the teachers.

International Coastal Clean up Day On 19thSeptember, 2015, a team of 64 SEESHA volunteers headed to the Konankuppam Beach, Cuddalore and participated in a coastal clean-up drive in commemoration of the International Coastal Clean-Up Day.

esus Calls Vidarbha Prayer Festival was conducted in Nagpur (Maharashtra) at Kasturchand Park ground from 2nd to 4th,October 2015. Since this Prayer Festival was held after a span of 7 years, (2008) people from 11 districts of Vidarbha awaited eagerly to receive God’s blessings.

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran shared God’s message and prayed for the personal needs of the thousands who had gathered there. Great multitude of people from the state of Maharashtra and nearby states such as Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh participated in these meetings. Prayers were offered for the prosperity and blessings of Vidarbha, especially for the welfare and wellbeing of the farmers. All of them were blessed.

Members of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Honb’le Shri. Sudhakar Deshmukh, and Dr. Milind Mane graced these meetings with their august presence. Many church leaders like Rt.Rev.Paul Dupare, Bishop of Nagpur Diocese (CNI), Rt.Rev. Emmanuel Panchoo, Bishop of Evangelical Lutheran Church and Bishop D.T Ward, Free Methodist Church attended these meetings.

These meetings were wonderfully organized for the glory of God by Mr.D.J. Newton, chairman, Rev. John Joseph, General Convener, Mr.Sudhir Martin, Vice chairman, Mr.Richard Newton, and Pr. Devashish Dubey, Jt. Conveners, Mr.Prakash Rao, Treasurer, and Pr. Ronny Jacob, Secretary, along with the support of all the churches of Vidarbha region.

During this Prayer Festival, 5000 people were provided food and accommodation on behalf of Seesha everyday.

I suffered a lot as I had severe pain in my body since the past 10 months. I came here with much difficulty. During the prayer time, I was praying with tears that the Lord should touch me and heal me. That time, Dr.Paul Dhinakaran said, “Sulochana, Jesus is coming to your house. You have helped so many people. Now He is building your home. Asthma disease is leaving you”. At that time, the Lord touched me and healed me. Now I am able to walk well. My daughter too was weak. In my family there are so many problems among the relatives and my husband. I came to the meeting with great burden and agony. My mother- inlaw was very sick and she too came here with great difficulty to walk. It took nearly 1 ½ hours for us to come in, from the entrance as she struggled to walk.

When Dr.Paul Dhinakaran prayed, he said, “Place your hand on the area where you have the sickness and weakness”. Closing my eyes, I placed my hand on my mother-in-law and prayed. That time Dr.Paul Dhinakaran called out my name ‘‘Ramola” and I felt as if all my problems were getting solved. Since the Lord touched my mother-in-law, she could walk well.

The training conferences for U-Turn volunteers in the Tamil Nadu level, were held in two places.

The main objective of the training was to bring young people to the love of God through the Lord’s power of healing and deliverance.

Last February, as a family, we came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Vanagaram. We requested prayers for me to get a bank job. The Prayer Warrior too prayed fervently and sent us back with the faith inspiring words, “The Lord will grant you a good job before your next birthday”.

Construction work revived I am doing the Lord’s ministry for almost eight years in Vadanathampatty village of Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. We started the worship service with 12 families and 25 children. We were conducting service under a thatched roof in a temporary place donated by a person. Due to storm and rain, the roof slid and fell down. With the little money which we had, we bought a piece of land and began with the foundation. To proceed with the construction work, we did not have sufficient finance. As we used to participate in prayers conducted in the Tenkasi ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Tower, we wrote a detailed letter elaborating on our condition to Bro. Paul Dhinakaran. With the aid received from ‘Jesus Calls’ ministry as per the Lord’s guidance, we have restarted the construction work. We praise God who is mindful of us. We thank Bro. Paul Dhinakaran for the help rendered.

Loving partner, Greetings to you in the name of the Lord Jesus. It is a great pleasure to get in touch with you through this month’s ‘Jesus Calls’ magazine.

“The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, and you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations” (Joel 2:19).

According to this verse, the Lord shall answer your cries, change all the reproaches that you undergo, grant you abundant blessings and satisfy you.

The Lord is graciously extending the boundaries of the ‘Jesus Calls’ ministry. For the sake of His service, we are tirelessly running from city to city and from nation to nation (Acts 8:40). Hearing your prayers, the Lord has been giving us the needed health and strength. I thank the Lord for that.

35 years with the Holy Spirit “…the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor” (Isaiah 61:1).

From the day when I committed my life to Christ, He has been graciously causing so many changes in me in course of time. The Lord, in His mercy, anointed me with His Holy Spirit on November 20, 1980.

And He opened the platform for me to preach. I began to preach among Jesus Calls O November 2015 O www.jesuscalls.org 18

multitudes of people. But I never had the spiritual gifts that were operating in the life of my father.

Yet the Lord had given me the grace to lead the people into salvation and make them receive healing. In those days, I had to minister on the first two days of the Jesus Calls Prayer Festivals.

From the 3rd day of the meetings the gift of word of knowledge, wisdom and prophecy would operate through my father.

For 14 years, I was thus diligently doing the ministry that was given to me. People expected that the spiritual gifts that operated through my father should work

through me too so that they would receive blessings. But, in 1994 on my birthday, and during the fasting prayer that we usually conduct before Prayer Festivals, the Lord spoke publicly through prophecy that He was giving me the gifts that were upon my father, in double measure.

Amazingly from that time the gifts of word of wisdom and knowledge began to operate in me.

So my father asked me to preach one more day in the public meetings. I obeyed my father’s words. 14 years passed. I was doing ministry with the gifts that were operating in me.

After 14 years, in 2008 God took away my father. A question arose as to who would give solutions for the large number of people who seek God’s will and guidance for their personal life. 23 days after my father’s death, when I cried to the Lord with tears, He bestowed me with the gift of prophecy and began to work mightily in the realm of prophetic apostolic era (1 Corinthians 14:3).

After this, when I took those letters in my hands, the Holy Spirit said, “When you ask Me, I will specifically reveal the solutions for these people who want to know My will, exactly as I reveal to you the names of the people and their problems from the public platform as well as through the television programmes. Your father is gone, but from now on, I will be a Father to you. I will speak to you and I will not let you down. I will not let down the people who come seeking for a solution from Me, through the ‘Jesus Calls’ ministry. I will not put them to shame.”

I thank God for He has been continuing to speak to me until now.

Now, this gift has multiplied and

increased in me in such a great measure that God is revealing solutions not only for the problems of the people but also for the rulers of the nation. That’s why I am able to go with the power of God to the rulers, Prime Ministers, Governors and Chief Ministers whom the Lord leads me to meet and give them the apt words. I don’t have any personal desire to meet anybody.

Only when the Lord says, “Go and meet this person”, I set out to meet him. They too immediately receive me and the word of God that I carry with me, with warmth (Acts 9:15).

In the 3rd phase of this 14 year period, the seventh year is ending this year. And this is the year which is the 50th year of freedom for the nation of Israel. Hence, this is a Jubilee year. It is a year where everyone is set on liberty to enjoy freedom (Leviticus 25:10-14).

However, from the first day of the beginning of this year, we have been encountering mysterious, different kinds of obstructions and hindrances. Yet, it could be felt in the spirit that the time has come for the ministry to enter into a glorious realm, with total liberty. In Israel, September is the time of the beginning of Jubilee year. In September, on my birthday, a prophetic word came through Pastor Pratap Singh. That day, I experienced a great release. From now on God’s face will shine upon us because of which many doors and favorable opportunities for the ministry will be opened.

God commanded the people of Israel to bring one tenth of their income to His temple. As prophesied by the Lord Jesus, when He was on this earth, that temple of God has been thrown down, with not one stone left upon another (Mark 13:1,2). Today through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus, the heart of the children of God has been made in to 'His house', where He dwells. (1 Corinthians 3:16). So, by sending 10% of your income (tithe) to the ‘Jesus Calls’ ministry, which proclaims God’s words and love to the people and makes their hearts His house, you may support this service of establishing the hearts as His temple. Looking at this labour of your love, the Lord will bless you immeasurably (Hebrews 6:10).

As led by the Lord, we are giving 10% of the offerings that we receive, to other ministries as offering.

Offering to the Lord who changed my shame

Four years back, we built a house in our native place. After two months, the Lord graciously helped us to build a house in the place where we are currently residing. But soon after we completed the construction of the house, friends and relatives who lent money for us began to demand their dues. They started harassing us in such a way that I had to make arrangements for my two sons to stay elsewhere.

So, from the beginning of 2014, we took great efforts to sell off the house which we had built in our native place. But we faced so many hurdles. Some people gave even the advance but cancelled the deal at the last moment. At this juncture, we came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Towers in Vanagaram and Rajaji Road and to the Dr.D.G.S.Dhinakaran Memorial Prayer Tower, for prayers.

I could feel as if a miracle was waiting for us.

We applied for bank loan to clear the debt we had obtained from others.

But the manager refused to grant the loan and we were greatly pained.

We continued to try for the bank loan and made a prayerful vow that we would sponsor one of the Jesus Calls Television programmes if we got the loan. After this, the same manager, who earlier refused to grant us the loan, finally sanctioned the loan with which we were able to clear the heavy debts we had incurred. As per our vow, we are sponsoring one of the Jesus Calls television programmes. Praise be to the Lord, who lifted up our head in the same place where we were put to shame.

“ … w h o m having not seen you love.

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory” (1 Peter 1:8).

The Bible says that the Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him (Romans 10:12). When we place our trust on Him, the King of glory, He gives us the riches of glory. Solomon, the wise man, has said, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich…” (Proverbs 10:22). Yes, when you worship Christ with hope, surely He will fill you with His glory and blessings. The Lord has promised, “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10). Yes, He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing (Job 8:21).

Three merchants were running three shops of their own. The business was not good. All the three were facing a tough situation.

So, the merchant, who had his shop on the first corner of the building kept a board announcing a special discount sale. Seeing this, the merchant, who was on the last corner, hung a board announcing 50% discount sale. The one, who was in the middle, wondered what he should do since the other two were competing.

Finally he hung a big board announcing, “Main Entrance”. People, who saw this mistook it for the entrance to the shops and swarmed that particular shop.

The Lord has said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). Let us open the door of our heart and invite Him saying, “Lord, come into me.” The hope that He would come is the hope of glory. “Everyone… whom (My people) I have created for My glory; I have formed him” (Isaiah 43:7).

Accordingly, when He comes into us, when He dwells in us as the hope of glory, He will bless us, fill our lives with His blessings and will keep us as a glory for Him. Jesus Calls O November 2015 O www.jesuscalls.org 22

Deficiency to Sufficiency After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward" (Genesis 15:1).

The Lord chose Abraham.

When he had no child, he was afraid how his future would be.

That time the Lord said to Him, “Do not be afraid. I will be your exceedingly great reward.” The Lord being our exceedingly great reward is the hope of glory. Yes, when you give room for the Lord to come into you, this reward will fill you.

Abimelech, who did many things against Abraham tells him, "God is with you in all that you do” (Genesis 21:22). When the Lord is in you as the hope of glory, even those who are against you would declare about you, “The Lord is with you.

He blesses all that you do” and would make a pact with you. The Lord will supply your needs and remove all your lacks, in the midst of your enemies and bless you gloriously.

Even if you are lacking in peace, blessing and riches, when Christ the hope of glory comes in you, He would change all your lacks (Philippians 4:19).

I give below the testimony of Sis. Keerthana who tells how the Lord removed the lacks in her family life: “I had no child even after 7 years of married life. Twice I had miscarriage since the foetus had no heart beat. Besides I had cysts in the ovary (PCOD) and hormone problems. I underwent lot of treatment from many specialists’ hospitals. The

medicine, injection and treatment given by the doctors did not yield any result. So we suffered a lot.

We faced reproaches. Since I had miscarriage twice, my family people derided me saying that I could not have a child any more.

I was abandoned during any special occasions. We used to attend the ‘Jesus Calls’ meetings held in Chennai or Coimbatore.

We joined the Young Partner’s Plan in anticipation of a child, with faith. When we had been to Coimbatore, application forms for admission in Karunya were being issued. With a faith that God would bless us with a son and that we would educate him in Karunya, we bought an application form and prayed with faith. We persisted in prayer since all the treatments proved futile. Also, we regularly watched the ‘Jesus Calls’ television programmes which were of great comfort to us. In 2013, the ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Festival was held in Erode. With great difficulty we could attend only the second day meeting and we reached the venue only at the time of final prayer. That day Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran was praying for the people. As we went there, she was praying for those who had no child and who had problems in the uterus and ovaries.

Placing my hand on my head, I prayed with faith saying, “Lord, You have made dear sister pray just for my prayer request.” The next month, the Lord made me conceive even without taking any treatment or medicine. Further tests said that I had a problem in the uterus which could cause a miscarriage. But miraculously the Lord has blessed me with a boy child through a safe delivery.

The Lord removed the lack of Sis. Keerthana’s childlessness and has made her happy. Yes, Christ the hope of glory in you is the secret of this blessing. If there is any lack or shortage in your life or family, cry out to Him saying, “Lord, stay within me. I too need the glory that removes all the lacks.” Then the Lord will unite you with Him. He being the chief corner stone, will build up your life as a glorious palace (Ephesians 2:12-22).

Death to Life “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

Once, when we had been to Sri Lanka to conduct meetings, multitude of people had gathered there and most of them were handicapped. When we inquired the organizers about the reason, they said that those people had been crippled in the war. Those who had lost their body parts had come to the meeting with broken hearts. Many had lost their homes. Many were in utter poverty. We hesitated wondering how to share the truth with them and how they would accept it. But during the prayer time, the Lord filled them abundantly. The Holy Spirit came down like rain. At the same time there was a heavy downpour. Yet nobody dis persed. People with little children too stood there until the meeting was over. Having faith on the Lord even in the midst of loss is the hope of glory.

Yes, the Lord is able to give us hope of glory in the midst of the shadow of death. He was the hope of glory to the sisters Mary and Martha who were in the shadow of death, having lost their brother

Lazarus.

When Jesus raised up the dead Lazarus, he said to the Father, "And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me" (John 11:42).

He first thanked the Father saying, “I know that You would do what I ask. Thank You for that” and cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” Then Lazarus, who was dead for four days, came back to life. This is the hope of glory.

Dear ones, the Lord will hear your prayer too. Pray every day with the faith that the Lord hears prayers. Then He will change the path of the shadow of death through which you pass by.

I was broken hearted when I lost my parents. Yet I never asked the Lord why it happened. Instead I told Him, “Lord, it is good for me that I have been afflicted” (Psalm 119:71). As I kept on saying that, the Lord’s blessings filled me. His comfort abounded. Yes, He makes everything good for all those who believe and love Him, who is the hope of glory (Romans 8:28).

There is a huge tree in a city called Oklahoma, in America. It is an age old tree. It was guarded well by the people of that city.

Tourists used to take photos of that tree and newspapers too published news about it. At one period, that city was bombed and several people were killed.

This famous tree was charred and buried in the sand. But soon, shoots came out and the tree began to grow again. 80 years have passed and even today it is lush with green leaves. Hence this tree has been named as “Survivor Tree”.

The Lord’s resurrecting life which is full of hope of glory will fill you too. Do not say, “Oh, my life is over.” The Lord will raise you up again. When you place your trust on the Lord and confess, “He alone is my hope,” you will be like a tree planted by the waters, whose leaf will be green (Jeremiah 17:7).

The Lord shall be your hope of glory and give you a new life.

Glory that removes infirmity "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick” (Matthew 9:12).

"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

(Mark 9:23).

When we had been to the land of Israel, the tourist guides informed us, “Lepers, the deserted ones and the rejected ones lived in Bethany with no other go. Jesus went there frequently, seeking them.”

Do you lament, “Alas, there is no medicine to cure this disease?”

Do you bewail, “I guess I will be delivered from this sickness only by death?” The Lord is willing to fill you with His glory and give you the joy inexpressible and full of glory.

In the year 2005, I suffered a lot as I could not urinate. Only few drops could be let out. My body began to swell. Seeing my plight, my neighbours took me to the hospital. I was given treatment and a scan was taken.

The doctors said that my gall bladder had swollen and hence referred me to another hospital.

I came back home. When my husband came home at night I told him everything. I then asked him to contact the ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Tower for prayer. Even while I was telling him this, I fell unconscious. I did not know what happened after that. My husband contacted the Prayer Tower for prayers and came back. That very moment I passed urine. After that the swelling in my body reduced. We were watching the “Nambikkayin Naeram” (Hour of Hope) programme in Tamil on the television. That time Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran and Dr. Paul Dhinakaran were praying. Sister Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran prayed for those who had been affected by gall bladder problem. We too joined her in the prayer. After that I was completely delivered from that weakness. Once, in the month of January, my husband stepped out after having his bath and the next moment, one side of his body became paralyzed and he could not move his hand and leg.

He could not speak as his mouth became crooked. He was in that condition for three days. A MRI scan was taken and the doctors said, “There is a blood clot in the nerve that goes to the brain. This could be rectified only by surgery. So take him to

Bengaluru.” But we went to the Salem Prayer Tower and prayed.

Again we went to the hospital for medical check-up. After seeing the report, the doctor said that everything was normal and that my husband had absolutely no physical problem.

Dear ones, do not be troubled if you are afflicted by any infirmity (2 Corinthians 12:9). Never forget that the Lord, who created the heaven and earth, is in you as the hope of glory. He can heal any terrible sicknesses (Psalm 103:3; Luke 7:21).

Your hope of glory will not be in vain. Do not forget that the Lord has chosen you to reveal his glory (John 9:3). The more we pass through sufferings and afflictions, the more He would love us. With great compassion He is waiting, saying, ‘My son/daughter has suffered so much. Let Me bless him/her.” The compassion of the Lord will bring down glorious blessings.

Do the doctors say, “There is no cure for this disease?” The Lord can open a way. He, who opens a way in the wilderness, is with you. So do not be baffled saying, “There is no way; the doctors have forsaken me. I am not well. They say that my child will not live…” and so on. The Lord will open a way. When the Lord comes upon you as the hope of glory, He will fill you with His Spirit.

Then there will be deliverance from your sicknesses (2 Corinthians 3:17).

When He led the people of Israel in the wilderness, He gave them the Manna in a situation where food was totally unavailable.

He gave them waters; He piled up the quails for them. This mighty God is still alive. He will be the hope of glory in your life and supply all your needs. He will change the shadow of death. He will remove your infirmities.

“...all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold.. and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered” (Ezra 1:6)

Karunya News:

Karunya Evangeline Memorial Tournament (KEMT) is an annual mega event conducted every year by Karunya University for the universities and colleges in South India, to pay tribute to Late Sister Evangeline (Angel). This year too, the 23rd edition of this Tournament was held in the month of September. A newly built Sports Complex has been constructed for this purpose which was inaugurated by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, the Chancellor of the University.

The event attracted nearly 4000 sportspersons of 403 teams from 107 Educational Institutes including universities and colleges.

The Tournament was officially inaugurated by Thiru.

I lost my beloved father in a road accident when I was six years old. My mother Premala is employed at a Private concern at Kottayam. After finishing my School Education in Kerala, I joined B . T e c h .

Mechanical Engineering in Karunya University in 2008. In 2012, While I was doing my final year Engineering, I wrote Air Force Common Aptitude Test for various Engineering jobs in Air Force. By the grace of God, I was selected for three Engineering officer jobs. I opted for Flying officer as I had also passed the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) which is an ‘once in a lifetime’ exam conducted by Air Force. I completed my training at Air Force Academy, in 2014 and am now working as a Flying Officer. My younger brother Bobby Mathew Skariah is now pursuing his I year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in Karunya. I am thankful to the Karunya University which has made me into an engineer and has also guided me in such a way to hold a responsible position. I thank God for His mercy.

I studied in a Tamil medium School and because of this when I came to Karunya it was very difficult for me to read from the text books that were provided. I could not understand anything. It was very tough for me to overcome this obstacle. The only hope I had was that the Lord, who brought me here would be faithful, and would lead me till the end of my life. God heard my prayer and He filled me with his wisdom. So every time I opened my book and started reading, I felt as if He was explaining every sentence to me as I read it. Surprisingly I got 8.04 CGPA in my first year, and He did not leave me all these years. I served as a volunteer during Prayer Meetings and in the Bethesda Prayer Centre. The Lord strengthened me, who stood for Him. He graciously rewarded me with a job in M/s.

Wipro. Now I cannot say that all these things happened because of my own strength and hard work.

One of the most important characteristics of God is to heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds. The Bible says that for this purpose He came down to this earth (Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18). It could be inferred from the Bible, from the Old Testament as well as from the days when our gracious Lord Jesus sojourned as a Man and in these days when He is working through the Holy Spirit after His resurrection and from the testimonies of people, that it is a delight to Him to heal the broken hearted. Also, broken hearted people could be seen all over the world.

Once a press reporter in a foreign country asked me, “Sir, people from all parts of the world invite you. Why so? What’s the special thing that you do?’ I replied, ‘Sir, broken hearted

people are there in all the parts of the world. There is a Beloved who comforts and consoles them. Since I carry Him, they welcome Him, along with me”

In Genesis 28:11-15 we can see about a broken hearted young man called Jacob. The name ‘Jacob’ means ‘Deceiver”. Jacob was a mild man, dwelling in tents. His brother Esau was a skillful hunter (Genesis 25:27). Jacob deceived his brother. So, his brother vowed in his heart that he would kill him.

Fearing that the elder one might kill the younger one, their mother called Jacob and said, ‘Son, run off to my brother who is in another nation”. Jacob, who sets out of the house, with his parents’ blessings, lies down in the wilderness, in loneliness and with a broken heart.

Darkness covers him. He, who was sleeping in fine, soft mattress, at home is now sleeping on bare land, keeping a stone as his pillow. That night might have appeared like an endless nightmare for him.

Once, when I was abroad, I met a lady from a different country. I asked her how she had come there. She said, “Brother, I was living near the capital city of my country. But suddenly there was a revolt in our country.

I went to meet some of my friends in the Embassy of this country and they said, “Tomorrow this city will be captured. So, all of us would be fleeing from here early morning.

Better come with us…” I was baffled and terrified when I heard this. I then contacted my parents and bade them goodbye over the phone. They could not understand anything and cried bitterly. I too cried with them.

That day I slept in the embassy.

Throughout the night I was crying, thinking of my parents and dear ones. Early morning I was brought to this country. My

life was saved but my heart is broken”.

Jacob too would have thought of his mother and her love. His heart might have been broken.

Let us meditate on the certain characteristics of the Lord, who thus binds the wounds of the heart:

Loves more than a mother “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” (Isaiah 49:15).

Perhaps you are lamenting that you have reached the end of life.

I have cried like that many times. In the year 1955, totally disgusted with life, I cried bitterly that I had come to the end of life and I ran towards the Railway track. In 1969, my both lungs were damaged and again I cried, “Oh, I’ve reached the end of life”. I cried in the same way, in 1985 when I was again sick. When I lost my dear daughter in 1986, I lamented and wailed, “This is the end of my life. This is the end of my ministry” God is given a name ‘Almighty God’ in Genesis 17:1. But in the original language it is said, ‘El Shaddai”, which means, “Mighty One”. At the same time, it means that He has the breast of a mother who feeds her child. On one side He is mighty! On the other side He is full of love, compassion and mercy! This is the nature of the Lord.

Before Jacob set forth, Isaac prayed, “Jacob, May you be blessed!” God heard that prayer.

He saw the tears of his mother Rebecca. That’s why He gave a wonderful and pleasant dream to Jacob, when he was asleep. He sees a ladder set up on the earth, Jesus Calls O November 2015 O www.jesuscalls.org 31

and its top reaching to heaven. The Lord stands above it and angels are ascending on it. They go to God; tell Him something and descend.

The Lord who stands on the top of the ladder lovingly says to him, “Do not be afraid. I am the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; I love you like your mother. Didn’t you wonder how you would return to this place? I am going to give this place as your possession. I will multiply your descendants and make them spread to the west and east, to the north and south” . Thus He answers all his questions.

Yes, Jesus came to heal the broken hearted people. This is the Lord’s true quality. Aren’t you living with so many questions such as, “Will I get married? Will I get a job? My house construction is not complete. Will it be built?”

The angels carry all your thoughts to God above. God will keep on sending comforting answers to you. From now on, you shall live with liberty and not with questions.

Man looks at the face. But the Lord looks at the heart (I Samuel 16:7). He knows everything – our sitting down, our rising up and lying down (Psalm 139:2-4). God knows our paths. He understands all our thoughts. Everybody faces a situation of lying down in the wilderness, with a broken heart.

The Lord is looking at you, when you walk through the difficult, lonely and broken hearted path (Deuteronomy 2:7; Psalm 142:3; Job 23:10). He will bring an end to your tears.

Never leaves “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5).

Once I had been to a city called Bellary in Karnataka to conduct a meeting. A father had brought his little son. He had been suffering from epilepsy, all the 24 hours. But the gracious

Lord had healed him in answer to the prayers offered for him.

The boy had been waiting to meet me since a year. He testified in the meeting in Bellary and the father was thrilled. When I prayed for the little boy, I prayed for the father too and I said about the boy, “Lord, thank You for healing the terrible disease of this dear son. But when I see him I sense that he has absolutely no memory power” So saying I prayed. On hearing this, both the father and son began to cry bitterly. In the midst of the thousands who had gathered there, the father said, “Brother, yesterday I beat him severely as he is unable to cope up with his studies. How great Jesus is. He knows my child’s shortcoming”.

Yes, whether it is a small or big thing, the Lord knows all your needs and thoughts. He knew that boy’s worries. He embraced and comforted him. He will surely do the same for you too.

He promised him, “Jacob, I will be with you wherever you go and save you” (Genesis 31:3). What He says stays! “Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will by no means pass away (Matthew 24:35). This is the comfort for us in this world.

I once met a man, who had escaped from his country during the civil war. He described his experience thus: “When I escaped from my country, I was a young man of 25 years. The boundary was protected by iron fence. Armed soldiers were keeping guard from the Watch Towers. Anyone who tried to escape through the iron fence was shot at. Even in that situation, there were people, who tried to earn money by helping the people to cross the boundary line. There were 6 persons along with me. We had given plenty of money to the man, who

promised to help us. It was bitter cold with heavy snowfall. The man led us in that pitch dark night and all of us were baffled.

Four persons had gone on one direction and a woman with a baby and I went in another direction. We were walking through a field which was full of mud. Suddenly that woman cried, “Oh, I’m unable to carry my child”. So I took the child from her and kept walking. After a short distance, she said, “I’m unable to walk further. Let me lean on you”. On one side I had that child and on the other side I had to support that woman. I had to almost carry both of them. It was dawn and the sun rose up.

We saw the fence a little farther.

Any time we could be shot by the soldiers in the watch tower. I knelt down and prayed with tears, ‘Lord, I am Your child. I have come here, trusting You. Please help me. I am going near the fence, with courage. Please close the eyes of the security, who guards over the fence”. I had a divine peace. We walked towards the fence and my heart beat fast with fear that anytime we may be shot dead. I told the woman to follow me and climb up the fence which was nearly 9 feet high. She said that she would not be able to do it. Not knowing what to do, I again prayed. Then I climbed over the fence and jumped on the other side. Slowly I lifted up the fence and pulled that woman and the child through the small gap I was able to make. Without turning back we ran for nearly 200 feet away from the fence and entered into a nearby hut. The man inside asked with wonder, ‘How come you are here?

Yesterday a woman and her 9 year old child tried to cross the boundary and in the morning we saw only their dead bodies. We cried seeing it. How did you reach here?’ I said, “The Lord Jesus Calls O November 2015 O www.jesuscalls.org 32

did it”. Yes, when the Lord is with us, it will happen likewise for us too.

The Lord said, “Jacob, do not be afraid. Do you think that you are going to a strange place? I know all the places. It is I, who formed all the places. I am coming with you. Do not worry. I will also protect you”. The promise, “I will be with you” is not only for Jacob, but it is also for us. Every promise of God is ‘Yes’ and “Amen’ in Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 1:20).

This word is enough for us.

He will walk with us even in our distresses. In all the affliction of the people, He was afflicted (Isaiah 63:9). So when difficulties crop up in our lives He says, “I am afflicted in My children’s afflictions”. He will be with you; He will protect you: He will save you. Let not your heart be troubled!

Cords of Love: “I drew them with gentle cords, With bands of love…”

(Hosea 11:4). “…love is as strong as death” (Song of Songs 8:6).

We, who are in the New Testament period, are privileged people. When a man goes to Jesus and tells Him, “I am a sinner”, He cleanses him with His blood and makes him into a new creature. He writes down his name in the Book of Life (I John1:7; II Corinthians 5:17). He says, “I am the Vine; this is My branch (John 15:1-4). I am the Hen; this is my brood (Luke

13:34). He is not only My son but a part of My Body. His flesh is joined with My flesh. His bone is joined with My bone (Ephesians 5:30)”. Can a part of the body be pulled out of it? Will the hand fall down automatically from the body?

Will the branch automatically fall off from the plant? Can the chick run away from the warmth of the hen? Not at all. He has bound us with cords of love. This cord cannot be cut off. That’s why He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

Once, when I went to Geneva in Switzerland, a man came to meet me to get my prayers. He had a peculiar pain in his leg which would torment him all on a sudden and last for several hours. Unable to bear that excruciating pain, he used to bang his head on the wall. The doctors were baffled by his condition. They could not do anything about it. This man had

a younger brother who used to catch hold of his leg, whenever he had the sudden attack of pain.

This brother used to cry along with the elder one, who had this problem. He said to me, “Brother, whenever I used to hold on tightly to my brother’s leg, my both hands would begin to ache. The same pain would spread to my hands and I would not be able to bear it. So I too would bang my head on the wall. I can’t bear to see my brother’s tears”.

The Lord Himself has borne our griefs on His body and carried our sorrows on the cross. He bore our infirmities and sicknesses (Isaiah 53:4). Is your heart broken today?

Do you suffer? Worry? Are you lonely? Are you scared of the future? Or do you have physical sufferings? There is a God, who is afflicted with you. There is a Beloved who says, “Come what may, I will not forsake you”. He

says, “My son, you are joined with My body. My flesh is joined with your flesh. My bone is joined with your bone. So when you suffer and are afflicted, I am also afflicted and suffer” He cried out with sorrow for our sake in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-42; Mark 14:32-42; Luke 22:39-46).

Whatever may be your sorrow, He can remove it. He knows what poverty is. He knows what loneliness is. He knows the deadliness of sin. Do not be troubled. He will bind your wounds; He will heal your broken heart.

When you have such a wonderful Lord, who has compassion on you, who changes your tears and who blesses and prospers your life, how happy you should be! Be willing to live a pleasing life to Him and bring glory to His name!

oday, when we face trials and temptations, we flounder and say, “Oh, what a big trial!

I’m unable to bear this. With whom can I share my tears and mental agony?’ However, for our sake, the Lord Jesus too suffered being tempted just as we do. By this He is able to aid those who are tempted.

We shall meditate a while on the sufferings caused by trials and the victory that we could get from them. “…Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps” (I Peter 2:21).

When we read Matthew 4th chapter, we see how Jesus was tempted by the tempter. After He had fasted forty days and forty nights, satan comes and tempts Him saying, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4).

In order to set us free from such temptations that occur in life, we need to read the Bible every day and meditate on it. A family or a man or woman who does not read the Bible, can never escape from temptation. They have to become slaves of the devil.

Like Adam and Eve, we too would lose all the blessings given by God. But he, who reads the Bible diligently, with devotion and who claims His promises for himself, can overcome temptations in his

Dear ones, when we yield to the tempter, when we obey his words, and when we are attracted by that temptation, we lose all the blessings that God has kept in store for us. In order that we should not be led into temptation but to overcome it and to aid

Look at the lives of the early man and woman Adam and Eve! God created them in His image and kept them without sin, in the most beautiful Garden of Eden which was full of tasty and luscious fruits. But devil, the tempter tempted them.

Both Adam and Eve fell into the temptation and committed sin. For this reason, they were driven out of the Garden. They lost God’s glory and blessings forever.

Dear ones, nobody could have a life devoid of tribulations and difficulties. In this world, all who are godly and ungodly should experience tribulations, distresses, sorrows and trials.

He says, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

(John 16:33).

many people do not give importance to the Word of God, in their lives. Dearly beloved, do you want to live holy and be pleasing to God? Read the Word of God every day and meditate on it.

In our life, in the year 1969, my husband, who was healthy, suddenly had a lung disease and both his lungs were damaged.

One day the doctor told me, ‘Madam, your husband would be alive only for one or two weeks more”. My husband had fever and used to cough day and night. Suffering after suffering; there was no peace in the family.

We were afraid what would happen. There was no hope that he would survive. Both my children were small. That time I ran to the feet of the Lord seeking His presence, since He alone was my hope. Overcome by the faith that He alone could change my agony, I clung to Him saying, “Lord, My loving Father, I don’t know how You would bring us out of this dreadful situation. You are my father and mother. Doctors and relatives have forsaken us. You are our everything”. What happened? The Lord spoke to me and said, “My dear daughter, your husband will not die. He will be raised up. Now he is doing ministry in a small scale.

Soon, I would open ways for him to conduct open air meetings”. Because of His Words, a great encouragement and new strength entered my heart. The joy that as He said to me, He would heal my husband completely and would continue to use him in the ministry filled my heart.

Accordingly, the Lord healed him and made him go back to his office after 4 ½ months. In those months, I firmly sought the presence of the Lord by which my face began to shine. The Lord did not forsake us. He granted complete healing to my husband. Following that, in 1970, the open air meetings began from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The Jesus Calls Prayer Festivals continued to take place in all the places. See how the love of the Lord sustained us in the time of temptation!

Many, who come to me for prayer, would say like this. Even after I pray for them and counsel them, they would again tell me about their worries.

I used to tell them, “Forget these worries and go

The reason for temptation to occur in our life is the worries that crop up in our heart. The devil would easily come against you and torment you by piling temptation upon temptation in your life. He would make us carry the burdens and worries caused by this.

We see many things in the parable of the sower.

He goes out to sow. As he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side; the birds came and devoured them.

Some seeds fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty (Matthew 13:4-8).

When we claim the Word of God as our own, in faith, we can live by its each and every Word.

When the devil comes against you and keeps various problems before you, you can surely be victorious through the power of the Word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper”

Psalm 1:2,3 say,

back with faith saying that the Lord has touched you and blessed you. He will make things come to pass”. This is faith; this is blessing. When we have faith on the Lord, as the seeds sown in the good ground, we can receive His abundant blessings.

Abraham was God’s friend (James 2:23; II Chronicles 20:7; Isaiah 41:8). He spoke to God; he conversed with Him; he fulfilled the will of God. That’s why He promised Abraham, “I have made you a father of many nations” (Genesis 17:5). He was firm in his hope till the last. Seeing his faith, the Lord fulfilled His promise in him. That’s why he named the Lord, ‘God, who calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17).

When the son asked him, “Father, where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” he said, “God will provide” So saying he took his son, bound him and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. Once, a mother took her little daughter to the park. Suddenly she wanted to test how much her daughter loved her. So she left the little one to play and hid herself behind a tree. She watched whether her daughter was searching for her. The little one continued to play without noticing the mother ’s absence. Suddenly she remembered her mother and started crying, “Mummy”. The mother ran towards her, hugged her and kissed her. Yes, similar is our Lord, who is the personification of love.

‘I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others’ (II Corinthians 8:8).

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (I Corinthians 10:13).

Victory in the test of love:

LORD are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good’ (Psalm 15:3) and ‘I will lift up my eyes to the hills; From whence comes my help?

My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1,2). That is how the Lord sees you.

Today, you may be forsaken by all and shedding tears in this worldly life. The Lord says, “I suffered for you. I went through temptation. My desire is to aid those who are tempted”. So do not worry for anything. Whatever happens in your life, be bold saying, “My Lord is sufficient for me”. He gives victory. He says, “I came to give you peace”.

According to His Word, He will bless you abundantly.

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

Glory after Temptation

Today, how many of you are wallowing in sorrow, having lost your child, husband or parents.

Do not worry. The Lord will give you the necessary comfort. He is the God of all comfort (II Corinthians 1:3). So do not be dejected. Temptations and trials will be there in life. The Lord will hold your hand and lead you wonderfully in the midst of them. The Lord, who went through the path of temptation, will give you divine strength, looking at the sincerity of your love. He will embolden you and comfort and console you.

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory”

In our life, in the year 1986, we lost our only daughter in an accident and our hearts were broken to smithereens. We were shocked, not knowing what to do. Within a month, we had invitations to hold meetings.

But our burdens were not lessened. Yet our eyes were only upon Him, who called us. He, who called is faithful. “Nothing could be done except to walk according to what He says. We can never go back” Thus saying, we kept on looking up to Him. Three years passed by. We began to search for an alliance for dear son Paul Dhinakaran. Some of the servants of God chose a girl for him.

She too had the same name ‘Evangeline’.

Angel was born in 1968 and she too was born

Psalm 138:3 says,

God wants us to take to glory. Every one of us should enter into glory. It is not that we were born, grew up and died. The Lord gives each one of us the privilege of entering in to His divine glory. We see Jesus, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor (Hebrews 2:9).

Jesus is our forerunner. He lived a model life for us. If we follow His footsteps, we would be blessed.

It is true that He went through tribulations. They scourged Him; crowned Him with thorns; He suffered for our transgressions. He endured all the temptations patiently in order to be crowned with glory. Hence God highly exalted Him (Philippians 2:9-11) and gave Him the name which is above every name. That’s why He says,

in the same year. Angel wanted to do B.Com and she too was doing her B.Com. They said “In everything she is like your daughter’.

What a wonder! The Lord gave Evangeline as the life partner to son Paul and granted us divine consolation through her. Now it is 26 years since my son is married. Till date, Evangeline is a daughter to us. What a joy!

Dear ones, the Lord will strengthen you as you believe. He will not make us sorrowful much beyond the limit no matter what temptation and grief confront us. He will see the sincerity of your love; He will give you the strength to bear the temptation.

Tribulations and sufferings may assail us in this

My husband did his ministry well. He prayed well. He had a good name even in his job. Yet physical sufferings tormented him one by one. In 1969, we were in agony as he had TB. The Lord healed him. In 1985, his both kidneys failed. The doctor said that there was no hope that he would live. But the Lord healed him miraculously. In 1990 he had heart attack and fell unconscious.

He was almost dead and in that condition, we took him to the hospital. That time too the Lord granted him healing wonderfully.

Finally, when he was sick, his face looked frail, burdened and grieved. However on February 20, 2008, the day when he died, his face was bright. One leader who came to the funeral said with wonder, “I’ve never seen such a bright face after death. What a great joy on his face!’ The Lord gives us this hope.

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:14). Yes, the name Jesus is the name above all names. God gave Him His glory to make Him get that name (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus Christ is the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person. He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high. He lived in this world; suffered; was scourged; was afflicted; died and rose again.

Today He is seated gloriously at the right hand of the Father. The Lord will give us the same blessing.

Not tasting the divine love of the Lord and not knowing His glory, I was leading my life, as I liked, calling myself a Christian. At that time, in my life, there was no divine peace. I could not experience it.

So, whenever there was some set back in my life, I used to sit and cry a lot. What else to do? Perhaps, you too are crying not knowing what to do. But one day, I understood the reason for that. Until then I had no communion with the Lord. I lived as I liked.

My parents showered me with love. I obeyed them in everything. Yet I had absolutely no peace within me. I felt as if I had lost something. It was then the Lord had mercy on me. I did not go seeking Him. He came seeking me, who was in the dark. He comforted me saying, “My daughter, why are you shed-

hese promise verses are wonderful. Perhaps this may not appear to be promises but shows us how great the Lord’s work is. The reason why we do not have blessings in our personal or family life is because of our actions based on our own understanding. We walk and do things as we please. So, the devil is pleased with us and he takes us through his way, the path of darkness. The end result is lack of peace, bitterness, self seeking and unwanted problems in our life. After that we become dejected wondering why such things happened.

Is it necessary for us to take our life to such a level and give room to despair? No, dear ones, I would like to share with you certain things from my personal experiences.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5,6).

Only when you too hold on to the Lord, like Him. Today, do you have such prayer life? Do you have the divine life of reading the Bible, walking devotedly in His divine path and communing with Him early in the morning? Think for a while. The greatest privilege

Has His peace entered into you?

Can you say, “Lord, not I, but You live in me”? Commit yourself to Him until you have this divine experience. The Lord will forgive you

and fill you with His divine grace.

He will cleanse you, ‘the vessel of wrath’, fill you with His love and make you into a ‘vessel of mercy’.

You, who read this, should receive this grace in your life today itself.

As the Bible says, “If you would believe you would see the glory of God” (John 11:40), place your full faith, hope and love on the Lord and trust Him.

Hasn’t Paul said, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me”?

You should have this experience.

Ask the Lord accordingly. Call unto Him! With Him there is no partiality. He will do what He did to Zacchaeus. People called Zacchaeus a sinner. But the Lord showed him love. He went to his house saying “Today I must stay in your house.” He wanted to stay with him. People said, “Oh, He’s a sinner.” But Jesus accepted him and said, “Today salvation has come to this house” (Luke 19:9).

What a great joy would have been in that family! So, you too should not let go of Him without receiving this blessing right now.

Today, without this divine experience many women are satisfied with the small degree of godliness they have. They think and act on their own and finally lose their peace. That’s why the Bible says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5,6). What a wonderful thing!

My dear sisters, that day, from the time when the Lord’s love flooded into me, I had a great joy.

My dear sisters, “Is this Lord your Saviour, your possession and your loving Father in your life?” – Please think awhile. It is not enough to go to church for namesake. We need to have the experience of getting united with the Lord. You should accept Him in your heart as your Saviour. Kneeling down, bring to your mind the scene of His crucifixion and tell Him, “Lord, You gave Your life on the cross, for my sake. You were broken, You were crowned with thorns and beaten. All the sufferings that You underwent were for my sake…” Then He will wash you and cleanse you with His sacred blood. He will fill you with the joy of salvation.

From the beginning to the end of the meeting, the auditorium was filled with the presence of God. Miraculous testimonies were of great encouragement to the groups. Sis. Stella Dhinakaran shared God’s message on the basis of the verse, “Arise and shine for your light has come…”

(Isaiah 60:1) and encouraged everyone to arise and shine in prayer, in the presence of God and to increase in spiritual gifts. During the prayer time, the Holy Spirit was poured upon everyone in a special way. All of them spoke in tongues filled with the Holy Spirit and rejoiced in the spirit; those who had come with much agony received divine comfort and consolation.

Finally everyone was made happy by the individual prayer and group prayer.

Partners’ Meet: Nearly 1500 people participated in the Partners’ Meet conducted on October 3rd in Bishop Heber College auditorium, Trichy. The testimonies shared by the partners were of much blessing to the gathering. Sis. Stella Dhinakaran shared God’s message on the topic, “How to be pleasing to God?” Everyone was richly blessed when she encouraged them by praying personally for them.

Church Service: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran was invited by Rev. Dr. John Durai to share God’s message on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Trichy – Fort Christ’s Church. The service conducted at 8.30 AM on October 4, overflowed with people. When Sis. Stella Dhinakaran offered God’s message on Psalm 23, and prayed, the pastors and the congregation were blessed greatly.

Family Blessing Meeting: The Lord did awesome deeds in the Family Blessing Meeting held on October 4 at 6.00 PM in the Trichy St.Joseph’s College ground. More than 5000 people from Trichy and other surrounding districts and cities attended this meeting. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Sis. Stella Dhinakaran shared the deep truths of the Lord and prayed fervently for the gathering. That time, many were comforted; the Holy Spirit came down mightily; many received healing; many were delivered from the bondage of the devil; many enjoyed heavenly bliss. All of them shared their miraculous experiences as testimony and glorified the Lord.

Rain stopped; showers of blessings came down: As the meeting began, the sky was thick with dark clouds.

There was a heavy downpour in the surrounding areas of the venue of the meeting. But, the Lord stopped the rain in the area where the meeting was held and showered only His blessings upon the people. Much to the amazement of the people, there was heavy rain the very next day of the meeting. The Lord proved that He is still alive; He blessed that city abundantly.

Yes dear ones, you should be faithful and seek the Lord faithfully. Sometimes we may commit certain mistakes in our life. There may be certain flaws, but the love of God keenly observes everything that is in your heart. “Of course she has so many shortcomings; yet she is faithful in this particular thing” – Seeing thus, the Lord will have compassion on you and choose you. That’s why though Paul was insolent and was a slave to wicked things, God showed him love.

Answer: The root cause for problems to crop up in a family is the lack of love between husband and wife. Despising the Lord’s commandment to honour one another is yet another reason for the problems. From where does this love come? We read this in Galatians 2:20. ‘It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me’ –How was Paul, who said this? He, who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man obtained mercy from the Lord who counted him faithful and put him into the ministry (1 Timothy 1:12,13).

The devil brought so many sufferings and sorrows in our lives.

They were huge temptations. But every time, both of us as husband and wife prayed together and overcame them, by the power of God. Both of us would jointly sing praises to God. Then faith would increase in us. The thought that the Lord would never forsake us would fill us. Hence, we would always be happy in the Lord no matter what terrible problems were brought by the devil. Even in those situations we used to sing, “Jesus is sufficient for us.” The Lord would deliver us wonderfully from those problems. Yes, problems such as financial lack, dreadful diseases, reproach, shame, loss etc., pursued us relentlessly. At such times, we struggled by ourselves with nobody to help us.

This is true Christian life. Today, the ways of salvation of living close with the Lord are not present in many people’s lives.

What a pity! Dear sister, do you want your problem to be changed? Do you want God’s help? This is the only way. There is no other way except to get filled with the Holy Spirit and to hold on to Him. Under any circumstances, do not yield yourself to please a man or do what he wants you to do. Think first whether it is pleasing to the Lord.

In case someone forces you to walk in the wrong ways, go to the Lord and pray to Him. He will miraculously deliver you from that way.

Read this verse diligently, and hold on to God with reverence.

To tempt you, the devil may bring myriads of temptations in your life. Look at Adam and Eve. God had given them perfect and full blessings. Along with it, He laid down a condition for them. But they obeyed the words of the devil and lost their greatest privilege and blessed life.

Lord delivers you from your problems. So, dear sister, who read this, you should first of all think whether your sins, transgressions, filthy works which the Lord hates, and your weak and faulty thoughts have been cleansed by the sacred blood of Jesus. Then you should analyze whether like Paul you too are enjoying the divine peace and the pleasure of salvation given by Him. If not, kneel down at once.

Commit yourself just as you are, at His feet. Then He will come to you as the Saviour; like Paul, you too can boldly and joyfully say, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; His grace has come upon my life where sin abound.”

Do not go to the next level, until you receive this experience. Do not be satisfied too with what you have.

godly zeal are needed in giving the Lord priority in your family life and in seeking Him. Discard vain talks, friendships, the habit of whiling away time by roaming around, wasting time in beautifying yourself etc., and understand the ways of the Lord and His will through the Scriptures and obey them.

Then you would be a daughter, pleasing to Him. The Lord will be with you always. He will change all your problems and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He will keep you under the shadow of His wings and lead you.

Esther Prayer Group was plying his own auto. On 11.7.2015, after our prayers in Esther Prayer Group, that sister received a call from her husband’s mobile and a stranger said, “The person who has this number has met with an accident.” At once, she ran to that spot and was shocked to see their auto fully crushed and smashed.

Assuming that her husband had died in the mishap, she began to cry. When she inquired the people, nobody was sure who was driving the vehicle. Within 10 minutes she got a call from her husband and he said, “The Lord whom you worship is faithful.

When I was driving the auto, I felt someone pulling me out of the auto by hand, upto nearly ½ Km and I fell unconscious after that. The auto collided with a lorry. Those who witnessed the accident told that I could have died if there had been a delay of one minute.” He excitedly told her that it was Jesus, who saved him. Yes, he was an unsaved man. Miraculous deliverance Sis. Jhansi, a member of our Esther Prayer Group has 2½ year old daughter who unexpectedly fell into a ditch full of rain water while playing. Nobody had noticed it. When everyone started searching for her, they were shocked to find her inside the waters. The Lord helped her to be taken out and the waters were also pumped out of her stomach.

He miraculously saved that little child from a great danger. Not only that, her son too fell down in the kitchen and knocked down the kerosene lamp. In the impact the kerosene spilt near the burning gas stove but the Lord prevented it from exploding and protected that dear son and the house. The prayers offered in the Esther Prayer Group alone provided them this protection. Glory to the Lord.
