Fountain Valley
Hi everyone! Since the last dcm, we had our club banquet to recognize our club’s success during the 2021-2022 term. We also released our summer committee apps that allow members to work behind board during the summer. Our past events included a water lantern festival and two concerts in the park. On the 26th, we had our meet fresh fundraiser to raise funds for our club. As for upcoming events, FV KIWIN’S will have a PTP bear making day to donate to the fv boys and girls club. We will also host a recruiting kiwis webinar for any incoming freshmen or students interested in KIWIN’S on the 29. In August, we are looking forward to a movie in the park and campout event at the fv rec center.
Garden Grove
Garden grove KIWIN’S has been kind of inactive for this summer due to health and other personal reasons. We plan to resume service events as soon as possible and hopefully host a fundraiser as well as a social in the month of August!
La Quinta
Hey Jet Kiwis, LQ KIWIN’S has been super hard at work this month with fundraisers and events. On 7/8, we held our successful 7 Leaves Fundraiser in which we generated over $165. We had our Concert in the Park event at the FV rec center on 7/14 where our members worked very hard during their long shift! All of our board members and a handful of general members also had a magical night at Jet Banquet. In total, we garnered 105 hours this month.

HEY KIWIS !! For the month of July, Marina KIWIN’S has improve so much in the many events and fundraisers we released and I’m so proud of the work we put in. First, on July 4th we worked with HB Kiwanis where we helped them serve table and even got the chance to host a very successful bake sale. Then on July 13th, we had our care package social where we put together school supplies for Huntington Youth Shelter and organized tickets for future events. In addition, we had another success Shirley TempleFundraiser at Jet Banquet and released Cheer Cards where members can send kind messages to patients. We also have our Flame Broiler fundraiser on July 26th as well. Overall, July has been a pretty busy months and we’ve got more fun plans in the future to come <3
OCSA
Hey everyone! This is Chelsea Hahm, OCSA KIWIN’S President. Due to some unexpected changes, we received a new treasurer for the club. Due to this sudden change, we had a quick board social at a local park and talked for a couple hours. Although it was very casual, it was a good opportunity to get the board closer. Our next plans are to open up a social with members as well once we get better understanding of our member count and status. I hope to engage members this way and keep the club running even throughout the summer.
Segerstrom
HELLO KIWIS! For this month, Segerstrom KIWIN’S has participated in helping the Heritage Museum of OC that had an event about teaching the history of Orange County. For future events, we will be doing a cleanup shift at a carnival in La Palma Park on 7/30. We also will be helping the OC Marathon on 8/7. Hope to see our members have a great time while volunteering!
