Jewel Highlights Brands and Artists that Tell a Story
Jewel Branding & Licensing will highlight key initiatives and new clients at the 2023 Licensing Expo at booth C134.

The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) licensing program continues to blossom around the globe. In 2023 the brand has seen significant growth, particularly in apparel and fashion accessories. NYBG partnered with LeSportsac on a new floral collection of handbags, totes and backpacks that launched worldwide this spring. New partnerships in Japan include New Era for headwear, Mash Style Labs for sleepwear and Toyoshima and Logic for apparel and accessories. In the U.S., the program also has bath and body, fragrance, tea, home textiles, stationery, puzzles and floral subscription service. Celebrating five years of collaboration with NYBG, Tea Forte launched the Jubilee Collection, bringing together the best of past collections with a selection of jubilant commemorative tea blends.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s (FLWF) latest partnership with Kith was Made in USA New Balance 998s inspired by the work of architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, and celebrating the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. In home furnishings, FLWF partnered with Steelcase to introduce The Frank Lloyd Wright Racine Collection by Steelcase, which includes a signature reintroduction and reinterpretation of a desk, chair and accessories. The collection launched last summer.
National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is one of the world’s oldest and most- trusted wildlife conservation nonprofits focused on protecting America’s natural resources for wildlife. The licensing program has expanded into home with the launch of bedding from licensee, Britannica Home Fashions, available at Fred Meyer. A new partnership with
Justice x Airheads Unisex Spring Collection Launched
Clothing brand, Justice, has dropped an exclusive Justice x Airheads collection. The unisex spring collection, targeted at juniors, has a colorful neo-hippie style. The collection will be available only at Walmart online and in stores.
The Justice x Airheads fashion collection features candy-inspired colors and includes T-shirts, tank tops and shorts.
“In this collection, Justice has picked up so well on the fun and playful vibe of our brand, Airheads,” says Christine Cool, area licensing manager, Perfetti Van Melle. “We are thrilled about this exclusive collaboration with Walmart, allowing kids all over the U.S. to sport a fun Airheads look this summer.”

The Landmark Project, an apparel company focused on conservation and the stewardship of public land, includes a collection of NWF fashion T-shirts. Acco partnered with NWF on back-to-school and recyclable planners that will launch later this year.
‘Bluey’ Stage Show Comes to Canada

Bluey and her Blue Heeler family are coming to Canada. “Bluey’s Big Play,” a live performance based on the animated series, will take the show on the road to venues in Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto, starting Dec. 8. Fans can expect more cities to be added.
Based on an original new story written by “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm, “Bluey’s Big Play” also contains new music by “Bluey” composer, Joff Bush. The live theater program will feature puppetry, live actors and sets from the series. ”
