Avi Melamed to speak to Naples community

Noted Israeli educator, author and intelligence analyst Avi Melamed will speak to the Greater Naples community on Wednesday, March 23, 7 p.m. at Beth Tikvah synagogue and via Zoom. The topic of his presentation is “Inside the Middle East – Entering a New Era.”

Melamed has been a strategic intelligence analyst and a recognized expert on current affairs in the Arab and Muslim world as well as its impact on the Middle East and Israel. He is the founder and CEO of Inside the Middle East Intelligence Perspectives (IME). This organization provides educational programing, teaching critical analysis in an innovative and engaging fashion. Melamed employs a nonpartisan, apolitical approach, discussing the contemporary Middle East, using intelligence methodology to teach critical thinking.

Melamed is the author of “Inside the Middle East: Making Sense of the Most Dangerous and Complicated Region on Earth” and co-author of “Separate and Unequal.” He will be talking about his new book, “Inside the Middle East Entering a New Era.”

The cost of this program is $18 per person at Beth Tikvah or $18 per household via Zoom.
