Architect and project designer for a variety of new single-family homes and renovations. Independently conducted zoning and feasibility studies, led design efforts through schematic design, developed presentations for clients, and assembled permit sets. 1150 Eastlake / Seattle, WA - Project architect during CA on a 12-story, 300,000 SF lab/office building in Eastlake. Involved in re-design of rooftop amenity spaces, MUP and permit revisions. Reviewed RFIs, submittals and issued bulletins. Responsible for coordination with structural, MEP and envelope consultants. Assisted with curtainwall manufacturer and general contractor coordination. Securities Building Repositioning / Seattle, WA - Multi-phased repositioning project separating a historic landmark from an existing parking structure. Primary point of contact for consultants and worked under the supervision of a senior project architect to document client change requests. Created phasing plans, permit sets, and landmark review presentations. Adobe TI / Seattle, WA - Technical designer for a 160,000 SF tenant improvement. Core team member from pre-design through construction administration. Responsibilities included concept design, test fits, design development of open-office and amenity spaces, consultant coordination, end user interviews, construction documentation, answer RFIs, review of submittals and shop drawings.. Twegashe Primary School / Bushasha, Tanzania - Documentation for a school and faculty housing as part of a pro bono effort with CORE Tanzania, a non-profit organization working in northwestern Tanzania.

US Embassy—Guatemala City, Guatemala - Developed exterior building canopies, coordinated the development and detailing of site elements and produced design development drawings for various office and maintenance buildings. Aided in project conceptual development, schematic facade studies, presentation/study models, graphics, and renderings. US Consulate—Guadalajara, Mexico - Responsibilities included design development, documentation and consultant coordination for key interior features of a new office building, main building canopy, two underground parking garages and auxiliary site canopies.
design/buildLAB / VIRGINIA TECH / 2013-14 Sharon Fieldhouse / Sharon, VA - Designed and constructed a new fieldhouse as part of a team of 16 architecture students. Responsibilities included scheduling, material take-offs, detailing structural analysis, steel fabrication, wood framing and installation.
