About Me
My name is Jhalan Taylor, an aspiring architect from the city of Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas. I have always enjoyed the art of drawing, sketching, watercolor painting, and drafting. It was early on in life when I decided I was headed on a path towards a career in architecture. The idea of constructing lines in a way that leads to forms that can impact people for years and years to come in a positive way, and also prove beneficial to the envirronment is what fuels my passion for architecture. Architecture for me is a way I can serve others through my God-given talents. I have always enjoyed technical drawing and graphical communications, and now, my love for architecture, specifically detailing and modeling, has only grown deeper.

Home Study Project 2 Nassau, The Bahamas This second home study project was done on the premise of creating a space where the Bahamian youth can go and use their time wisely after school, or anytime in general, and provide places for those without homes to live. On its first floor, this building houses a restaurant, a gallery, and a library.

Morton Barn Model This model was done in the process of me learning how to use SketchUp. To work on my SketchUp skills, I worked on this model bit by bit everyday. This is a 3-D model of one of my university studio projects on the pages to come. 27
