Drucker Thinking well to be wise: planning well, wiser: doing well wisest and best of all. ~ Malcolm Forbes Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning. ~ Winston Churchill A goal without a plan is just a wish. ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupery Productivity is never an accident. WORK ORDERS CAN BE EMAILED! What happens when a new job is received in your office after the Production Crews have already left? Do you make a phone call and hope the Crew Chief has a clean piece of paper available to write all the information down? On the other hand, do you take advantage of the functionality within WCO to email the Work Order to the Crew Chief? Yet again another fantastic reason to have a Single Sign On set up for each and every crewmember. Once the Work Order is set up and scheduled, it can be emailed directly from the Scheduler. • Locate the appointment in the Scheduler, right click, choose the Email Option and if an email has been identified for the User, the Work Order can then be emailed. • The primary recipient must have an email set up within WCO; then additional employees can be cc’d, without having an email identified in WCO. It will send a complete copy of the Work Order to the Production Crew in the field. This will save time and money, as the Production Crew will not need to come back to the office. • To set up the email, a User, with appropriate rights, can edit the User under User Management (Preferences on WCO home page) and enter the Email address. See…Quite simple! You know me, all for working smarter-not harder, and we should all keep this in mind. For a number of reasons, the ultimate goal is to have every Job completed through WorkCenter™ Office (WCO) and Drybook™. • First, if used correctly, these can be tools which hold all information regarding a specific job. • Second, these tools will serve as a resource for future preparations. • Third, should the need ever arise to defend your work, if plans are completed via DryBook™, all your documentation is there.
Later this year we will have access to a data tool which will allow us to tie revenue to the "How did you hear about SERVPRO®?" field. With the investment Franchise Owners are making in Google marketing this year (or any other Web marketing for that matter), they will be looking for a return on this investment. We should know how our customers find us. With this addition to our toolbox, information entered into WCO will put valuable data into the hands of the Franchise Owner to evaluate whether or not the money spent is a good one! However, the other side of that is a big one. If there is minimal data in WCO, meaning only required jobs, the data we get out of WCO is going to be less than helpful; therefore, we need Franchise Owners to be sure their offices are entering ALL jobs, not just National Account Jobs. Do you make decisions in your life based on half the information? I know I do not. Why should your business be any different? FUNDRAISER FOR THE UNITED STATES MILITARY TROOPS On April 1, 2017, Rich and Shannon Delfino, Franchise Owners of SERVPRO® of Patchogue, along with their staff, hosted their first fundraiser for the United States Military Troops. We collaborated with the USO in order to achieve the maximum amount of money possible, and it was a huge success! For over 75 years, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military and their families throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join the military service, throughout their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back into their communities, the USO is always by their side. The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. The USO is not part of the federal government. As a congressionally chartered, privately run organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish their mission of connection. SERVPRO® of Patchogue with the USO raised over $10,000 for the United States Military troops and their families and had a great time doing it.
