THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF JAMES H. MORRIS
Introduction The art of photography can be rewarding. But it can also come with its fair share of frustrations. You can take hundreds, if not thousands, of photographs without getting anything that you really like. But then, you capture that one moment in time that makes it all worth it. And when you do capture that moment, you want to share it. That’s where this book comes in. This is my first book, and hopefully, not my last. I’ve put together some collections that I hope you enjoy. One thing that I’ve learned through the years of being a photographer is that there is beauty in everything. You just have to look for it. And being able to capture that moment in time when you see that beauty is what makes being a photographer worth it. My photographs are unique in that I apply custom filters to the photo during post-processing that give the photograph, what I like to call, a fine-art photography effect. The photograph is detailed, high contrast, and almost appears to be a painting, rather than a photo. I can guarantee, however, that every photograph in this book is an original photograph that I have taken.
