NEW OFFERINGS AT SHOOTING STAR
For Shooting Star, the first six months of 2014 was a time of continued growth in real estate sales, membership activity, landscaping, and new construction. Five more home sites were sold, thirty-one new families joined the Club, and over four hundred trees were planted at the north end of the property. In April, construction began on Shooting Star’s newest offering, the Lodges at Fish Creek, which were designed by John Carney of CLB Architects with interiors by Jane Schwab of Circa Interiors. All twelve 3-bedroom Lodges were spoken for in less than two weeks last summer. Completion of the first unit is scheduled for May of 2015 with the last one being completed in December of that same year. Due to the over subscription of the Lodges, Shooting Star will be releasing four more Lodges this month. They will utilize the same floor plan as the Lodges at Fish Creek, and all will have outdoor fireplaces with covered porches and stone terraces with Jacuzzis overlooking the East Branch of Fish Creek. The Lodges will be built with reclaimed timbers, barn wood siding, and Montana Moss Rock. The great room will have a cathedral ceiling allowing outstanding views of the Tram and Après Vous Mountain. The master bedroom will look out to the Sleeping Indian. The Lodges will be in walking distance of the Clubhouse, and in the winter, the Club will provide on-call shuttle service to and from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Later this summer, the Club will release the North Cabins at Shooting Star. The Cabins are being designed by the architects for the first phase of Cabins -- nationally acclaimed JLF & Associates, who were most recently published in the June 2013 issue of Architectural Digest.
