If only by the slightest of margins, 2019 was once again a record-setting year for real estate sales in Teton County, Wyoming, with more than $922M in dollar volume for the last 12 months. What should be noted, however, is overall transactions fell 3.4% from 532 sales in 2018 to 514 sales in 2019. This dip in activity stemmed from both a lack of inventory and the continued escalation of prices. Residential units drove the 2019 real estate market with four out of five transactions involving a home, townhome or condominium.
