2014 has been another successful year for Shooting Star. Sixty new families have joined the Club since January. All twelve Lodges at Fish Creek went under contract in the spring. The first one will be completed in May and the last one in December of 2015. Eleven single family lots sold, which is the most since the initial year of sales in 2007. Eight single family homes have now been completed, five are under construction, and eleven more are in the planning stages. This past August all twelve of the North Cabins and all four of the Lodges at Shooting Star were reserved. Construction on these units is scheduled to begin in April of 2015. In July, the Larry Berlin designed home on Lot 46 went under contract. This project was the result of a new partnership between Lance Mortensen
and Shooting Star. The home has six bedrooms, is 8,000 square feet and has views of Rendezvous Mountain with Fish Creek winding through the backyard. The floor plan includes six bedrooms, a great room, a dining room, a media room, and a state-of-the art kitchen. Beautifully landscaped terraces will provide gracious outdoor living spaces. The interiors were designed by WRJ Design. The success of this project has the Mortensen--Shooting Star team designing a new home with a different floor plan but of a similar size and room program. It will make extensive use of natural stone and reclaimed wood and will overlook a meandering branch of Fish Creek with extraordinary views of the Tram and Rendezvous Mountain. It is

scheduled to break ground in the spring. Since all twenty-eight Lodges and Cabins are spoken for, Shooting Star is offering to build the 5-bedroom North Cabin on single family lots. These Cabins were designed by nationally acclaimed JLF & Associates, who were most recently published in the June 2013 issue of Architectural Digest. The Cabins are 4,845 SF and will be constructed with materials similar to the first phase of Cabins -- log timbers, barn wood siding, and snow fence, all reclaimed; coreten steel with clad battens; and Montana Moss Rock. The interiors will have open floor plans, spacious master suites, and top of the line finishes and kitchen appliances. Outdoors they will have stone terraces with Jacuzzis. Shooting Star is also offering on single family lots the John Carney designed Lodges at Fish Creek II and the Lodges at Shooting Star II. They are similar to the Lodges at Fish Creek, except that these Lodges have a large master suite on the first floor to complement the master suite upstairs. On the second floor there is a third bedroom and an office/TV room. They will be 3,360 SF and have outdoor fireplaces with covered porches and stone terraces with Jacuzzis. The great room will have a cathedral ceiling allowing outstanding views of the Tram or Après Vous Mountain. The Lodges will be built with reclaimed timbers, barn wood siding, and Montana Moss Rock. All real estate offerings will enjoy access to Shooting Star’s world-class amenities, including a Tom Fazio golf course, a spacious fitness facility, a luxurious spa, on-call shuttle service to and from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and two new tennis courts which will be available for play next summer.
