LUXURY PROPERTIES DRIVE NEAR-RECORD SALES

2015 Sales Volumes Approach Record 2007 Levels

JACKSON, WY – The sale of several large properties throughout the course of the year have helped to push total annual sales volume for Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty to within five percent of its record high of $759,296,199 set in 2007. Current sales figures for the year-to-date ending November 30 reflect a 27% increase over sales volumes for 2014. Leading the way in vacant land sales was the sale of two adjoining parcels north of Jackson early in the year. The lots in the Bar BC East Development, bordering lands

protected by Grand Teton National Park and the BLM, were listed for $9M and $9.5M. Also north of Jackson, the largest residential sale of the year for the brokerage was the “Linger Longer River Ranch” in the Bar B Bar Ranch. The 72-acre property comprises of a 7,600 sq. ft. main home, a 4,624 sq. ft. “bunkhouse,” and a 2,070 sq. ft. “recreation home” on two adjacent ranch lots. Additional features of the property include Snake River frontage, enhanced creeks and ponds, and direct views of the Cathedral Group of the Tetons. The listing was offered at $22M. The final quarter of the year saw the highly-anticipated closing of a ten-acre tract of commercially-zoned land held by the U.S. Forest Service. The land, which had been under contract several times
