Town of Jackson and Teton Village drive valley real estate market in 2015

Jackson Hole’s submarkets. The Town of Jackson (8) and Teton Village (1) are the two highest producing submarkets in the county. The Town of Jackson is driving the majority of activity with over 32% of transactions, while Teton Village accounts for 16% of all transactions in the area for 2015. Presently a combined share of nearly 50% of real estate transactions occur in either the Town of Jackson or Teton Village.

The real estate market in Jackson Hole remains strong eight months into 2015. As of August 26, 2015 there have been a total of 314 transactions in Teton County, Wyoming with 41% of the trades for single-family homes. Condominiums and townhomes account for 39% of the transactions and vacant land sales make up the final 20%.
