The design aims to harmoniously blend modern elements with nods to Art Deco motifs and the industrial characteristics of the building. The physical threshold where one steps into the present and sets the expectation that a unique, magical experience lies ahead.

KEYWORDS: Law firm, Neoclassicism & Modernism, Alignment, Material honesty
Designed the King and Spalding law office in downtown Chicago, creating a sophisticated blend of neoclassical and modernist elements that reflect the building’s architectural character.
Emphasized the use of natural materials and spatial harmony, with careful alignment of ceiling, wall, and floor as central design features.
CONCEPT CHICAGO NEOCLASSICISM & MODERNISM
Neoclassicism: Architecture is defined by formalism in design, classical references & the use of warm materials. Modernism: Architecture defined by clean planar form, honest use of materials, and classical proportions.
Neoclassical Materials applied to modernist architectural forms.
The central furniture piece that merges sculptural form with functionality, offering flexible seating that accommodates groups with varying levels of proximity. The soft curves of the piece create a welcoming atmosphere, subtly enhancing spatial comfort and cohesion.
YEXT - DC & NYC & TOKYO & PARIS OFFICE
KEYWORDS: Fast Pace, Large Scale, multiple locations
Executed a comprehensive design within a fast pace timeline, drawing on Yext’s blackand-white brand palette to craft a vibrant, dynamic pop-up space. The Yext office integrates workplace, media, café, conference, and editing areas into a cohesive environment, fostering collaboration, critique, and idea-sharing among users.

The thesis focuses on transforming underutilized spaces into interactive playgrounds, fostering collaboration between communities and reintroducing playfulness and unpredictability. Drawing from the study of human movement, the design envisions four interconnected configurations, each reimagining and complementing the existing space functions.
