Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) 1. All the perpendiculars or orthogonals meet at the central vanishing point; 2. All parallels have the same vanishing point. If they are in a horizontal plane, their vanishing points lie on the horizon; 3. If the parallels meet the picture plane at 45 degree, the distance between the eye and the picture plane is the same; 4. Equal dimensions diminish progressively as they recede in the space.ww
Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)
Homogenous space is a purely mathmatical space. The basis of the homogeneuty in the geametric space is that all its element, the points are joined in it, are mere determinations of the position, with no independent conten of their own outside of this relation. And the homogeneous space never given space, space is produced by construction.

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 Basically, the view is taken from the outside the Old Quard, thus, we can see both the inside and strucgture of the Old Quard.
To see the details of the inside section, such as columns form.

PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2
The view from the front part of the Old Quard, in this view, we can see the whole picture of the map of the Melbourne, and the fake observers within the frames before it, linking the seven landmark architectures in Melbourne. To ipresent the core idea about the spider-web city.
The second view is captured from the left front corner of the Old Quard. Four main levels are clearly presented, and readers can have a further understanding of the inside layout.

SECOND EXPRESSION OF THE STORY -----
CITY EXHIBITION
MODELS OF THE BUILDINGS HUNG BELOW THE MELBOURNE CITY MAP
MAIN IDEA OF BUILDING THE THIN OCTAVIA IS NOT PURELY ABOUT CREATING A FRAGILE WEB CITY, INSTEAD, IT IS AN EXHIBITION OF THE MODERN CITY. IN SOME WAY, THE CONNECTION OF THE CITY MAP AND THE BUIINGS WITHIN IT, IS LIKE A CHANGING WEB.

WEEK 4 READING: TITLE OF READING
Question 1: IWhat is the difference between autographic and allographic practice? (Maximum 100 words) Autographic and Allographic are two different types of art form, the main difference is that whether the art work is produced with the authenticity directly by the author. Autographic arts, such as painting and sculpture, whose authenticity is dependent with the author. In contrast, the arts work like music, poetry or theater, which can be copied and produced without the direct intervention of the author, called the Allographic.
Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) As architecture is neither clearly allographic or autographic, it is not easy to represent this highly abstract and self-referential system with existing reality, thus, digital diagrams are essential to be a reproduction of architectural practice, as grounded technical requirement for a notational language.

The Octavia is s spider-web city, in my Old Quad, the web city I want to present is the net-like modern city. I use the simple idea of an exhibition held in the Old Quad to show the relationship between the buildings and layout of the modern city. Buildings are the components of a city, in some way they also determine the form of the city, the unbalance between them, may cause a broken “net”. The visit of Marco Polo in the exhibition, was not only a magical site visit, also it’s a time travel, comparing the other ancient cities he visited, the complexity and variety of the modern city ----- Melbourne made him feel confused and curious, thus, the tour was divided into the explotion and relaxation part.
