BRANDING IDENTITY
Intent of texture A surprise of materiality Fashion is a way of expressing someone’s identity. It is Nico’s intention to strive for artistic freedom, build collections based on the use of materials in an unconventional way creating surprise and mystery.
BRANDING IDENTITY
Infinity of shape An innovation of tailoring Nico introduced tailoring into the bags, developing bags like clothing. The shapes are cut, draped and tailored, a mix of construction and deconstruction using soft leathers with a high focus on nature materials.
BRANDING IDENTITY
Timeless travel A space between history and future The collections are balanced between History and Future. The conflict between tradition and innovation creates an interesting paradox for Nico’s avant-grand.

SNAKE PAVILION A playful installation to learn the beauty of snake.
What’s the beauty of snake?
Scale The skin of a snake is covered in scales. Snake skin has a smooth, dry texture. The shape and number of scales on the head, back and belly are often characteristic and used for taxonomic purposes.
Skeleton The skeleton of most snakes consists solely of the skull, hyoid, vertebral column, and ribs, though henophidian snakes retain vestiges of the pelvis and rear limbs.
Scale Moulting Molting occurs periodically throughout the snake’s life. First, the old and worn skin is replaced; secondly, it helps get rid of parasites such as mites and ticks.
How to connect? Scales could be placed on the frame.

Form Study Male: folding
Folding and bending are two different design actions. By folding the material, there will be obvious straight angles which represents the man’s character, straightforward and powerful.
Form Study Female: bending
Bending the material gives a soft and continuous surface which is similar to female’s beautiful body.
