Jihany Hassun

With a foot in both North and South America, Jihany Hassun’s conceptual work range from site specific projects to urban scale. She has previously interned and been mentored by award-winning, Montreal based firms, Lemay Architectes and NIP Paysage. As a student and teacher assistant in Landscape Architecture at the University of Montreal and student at the University of São Paulo she has been a recipient of numerous awards and nominations. She is also bearer of a degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Hoping to expand the breadth of her portfolio Jihany is open to opportunities, collaborations and conversations. Her interests lie with urban resiliency challenges faced by megacities and their landscape’s ability to respond adequately to demographic pressures and land constraints.
