group lessons United States Figure Skating Association basic lessons for PRE-SCHOOL (skaters must be 4 years old) through ADULT. Skaters receive a ½ hour lesson per week with a 30-min practice time, (15 min on Thursdays). Skaters can use the public skating sessions at the Blue Line Club Arena. Your “Skate With Us” badge, handed out at your first lesson, is needed for admission to public skating. Lessons: Thursday evening | Saturday afternoon | Sunday afternoon Location: Blue Line Club Arena Program Dates: Saturday, November 1 - February 12 Pre-registration will be accepted until October 20. Group assignments will be available on line at www.gfparks.org on October 28 & 29. After October 20, no registrations will be accepted, until the November 13 registration at Blue Line Club Arena from 6:00 – 7:00pm. Border Blades Figure Skating Club will be hosting their 4th annual basic skills competition that your skater is able to participate in if they are enrolled in basic skills lessons or the advanced class. It will be held November 21 - 23 at the Purpur Arena. Registration packets will be available the first day of lessons and must be submitted by November 10. This is a competition for all levels of skaters, including beginners, and each participant will receive a medal for placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their group.
