Paris
France
This iconic city needs no introduction. It is perhaps the most coveted destination on the planet for food, art, culture and shopping. You could spend months and years and Paris and still only scratch the surface. What’s more, once you cross the main attractions off your list, the real fun begins. Strolling the winding back streets, enjoying endless coffees and pastries at bistros, and idle time window shopping and watching Parisian life in action remain my favorite activities.
Inspiration
I had spent time studying in Paris during college and wanted to go back and visit as an adult, and visit some of the lesser-known areas and hidden hot spots of the city. I also went to photograph a monograph of Villa Savoye, Le Corbusier’s grand tribute to modernism.

Best Time of Year to Visit June to October. Good To Know Paris weather is similar to London weather, with bouts of rain and overcast skies. Bring a jacket and umbrella. Budgeting Tips Aim for shoulder season, before or after the mass of tourists arrive; it’s better for access to the attractions and easier on the budget.
