Jim Callan

I am a published and exhibited photographer and writer who has,since 1986, produced published and printed images for local authorities, publishers, magazines and the national and regional press. I have also undertaken extra's work in film and television, including Martin Shaw's "Ladder of Swords" which was filmed in South Shields. My images of the Great North Run were featured in a solo exhibition at the South Shields Museum and Art Gallery and my images of several national events have featured in other exhibitions and displays. Over the years, I have held Associate and Licentiate memberships with several national and international photographic societies and organisation including the BPPA, SWPP and BPPA. I have, since 1983, undertaken work with the likes of NUI and the AA and have produced award winning images covering weddings and event photography.
