Making Money at Home Changing Home Business Income Streams I love eBooks - always have. I love to read them, sell them, talk about them and buy more of them. If you're an eBook enthusiast like me, you know what I mean. While my eBook store and eBay support my habit, I've found that it is also good to look at other streams of income that are available and I'm going to share just one with you. One thing that has always been test for me when I look at other income streams is whether or not this new venture will take away significant time from my eBook business. If it does, then I forget it quickly. Today's internet market is changing so quickly that new ideas for money streams appear, it seems like, every day or so. That's a good thing and a bad thing. There are only so many hours in a day and there is certainly a limit to how many hours you can sit in front of a computer screen. So my second test to other income streams is automation. If I have to do it all myself, I'm probably going to run out of time pretty quickly. One place I've found where you can make significant income, and there are no (that's right no) start up costs. This company has been around a long time and they operate their business from a pure old-fashioned American set of values and ideas. The name of the company is SFI, Inc. At first brush, you might think SFI, Inc. is only an affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is not a bad way to add an income stream to your business, and SFI, Inc. offers a brand of affiliate marketing, but that is only a minute part of the business. Their are multiple streams of income with SFI, Inc. and they all make money. Here's a fantastic part of the business as well. SFI, Inc. has a department where you can sell your merchandise in an eBay-like setting, and guess what one of their big sellers is? You guessed it right off - eBooks. I always try to keep a few books for sale in my store at SFI, Inc. Here's a link to one of them. The cost to sell your eBooks, software and digital products is very low and there are no shipping costs are zero. Ebay changed their policy about how eBooks and other digitally downloadable products are sent to the buyer once the sale is over. Ebay's new rules prohibit the download of digital products once purchased. Their policy requires the seller to package and ship a CD or DVD containing the product purchased my "snail mail". The cost of packaging materials, the cost of the CD or DVD itself, and the postage cost of "snail mail" have significantly reduced the ability to sell eBooks on eBay. From 1998 until eBay's policy change, we sold hundreds of titles of electronic books on eBay. Today, we keep from 1 - 50 volumes running there just for our customers who like to buy on eBay.
Take a minute to go to SFI, Inc.'s. site and look it over. Sign up FREE and start surfing. You accumulate points, which you can redeem for merchandise, for just working through their system. It is very enjoyable. It sure doesn''t seem like work and the potential is unlimited. If you click on one of the links I've included to the site and sign up free, then I will get to be your coach, your leader. I love working with other people; especially when that work makes everyone money. Thanks for reading my blog today. Come back often. Email me and let me know what you think. Jim SFI Inc.
