Curtain & Bedding pattern design - theme for geometry
This group design is for curtain and bedding with a same theme of geometry, divided into two markets of China and the UK. It connects with the trend from the 2016/17 Heimtextil Theme Park - Enrich trend and Protect trend. Within geometry idea is divided into two collections for pattern design - the geometric flora pattern with bright contrasting colours for bedding and the regular geometries with pastel or purity colours by collage technique for curtain. The target customer of curtain is for Chinese young student from high school to college and bedding is for young western people who prefer cultural and traditional pattern. The special element is texture. It has two types – one from visual research of Chinese water and ink painting and one from oil painting.
