Day 2 (B, L) Chengdu Today we will drive to explore the mysterious Mt. Qingcheng famed of Daoism by cable car and marvalous Dujiangyan Irrigation. There is a small inner lake called Yuecheng Lake we can also get a glance.

- The front gate of Mt. Qingcheng: Located about 15 kilometers from the southeast of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, Mt. Qingcheng lies amidst the Western Mountains covered with pure white snow, and dominates the fertile land of Chengdu.

- Dujiangyan: It is an Irrigation System, which was built over 2250 years ago to irrigate the Chengdu Basin, and it has been cultivated the whole basin for more than 2000 years already.

- Cable Car on Mt. Qingcheng: You can take the cable car for deep feeling of the Mt.Qingcheng.

- Yuecheng Lake: Yuecheng Lake is located in the foot of Yuecheng Hill.

Day 3 (B, L) Chengdu Our focus today is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning and Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan in the afternoon.

- Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan: Founded in 1992, this museum occupies an area of 7000 square kilometers, and has a exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from No1 and No2 sacrificial pits of Shang Dynasty (from 16th-11th century B.C.). There are thousands of pieces of invaluable relics such as bronze ware, jade ware, gold ware, pottery, and bone ware on the exhibition, where you can get a closed look and

learn more about the ancient China.

- Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding : It locates at the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City. It covers an area of 600 acres. The environment here is exquisitely designed; the air is refreshing with the bamboo growing luxuriantly and flocks of wild birds flying around. (There are two Personal interactions with the pandas. One is enjoying seeing Feeding at 9am or 2pm and another is taking photo with them by donating RMB300-500 for adult pandas or RMB50-100 for baby pandas. You can consult with our guide who will be there assisting you on it before visit. You will be highly appreciated if can do something for them.)

Full Itinerary Day by day Day 1 Chengdu Arrival (D) Welcome to Chengdu, the hometown of Giant Pandas! be greeted by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of today is yours to enjoy the leisurely life pace of this city on your own.

In the evening, enjoy hotpot in a local restaurant to taste the local Sichuan flavor.

Sichuan Local Cuisine - Hotpot Day 2 Chengdu (B, L) In the early morning, your guide and driver will pick you at your hotel. Drive about 10 km to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see the cute giant pandas and red pandas. Watch the pandas eating, climbing the tree, roaming in their enclosure and playing with each other. (Please note: if you want hold a giant panda, you should pay 2000 RMB which belongs to the donation fee for saving the rare endangered species.)

After the happy time with pandas, transfer to Wenshu Monastery. Built in Sui Dynasty, it is a clean and quiet temple in the city center where you could experience Buddhist culture and local life of Chengdu.

Chengdu Giant Panda Day 3 High Speed Train to Chongqing & Board Yangtze River Cruise (B, L) In the morning, be escorted to the train station to take a 2-hour high speed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up at Chongqing North Railway Station and take you to explore the must-sees in the Mountain City.

First, visit Ciqikou Old Town where you can still see lots of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, local shops, tea houses, local Sichuan street performance and more. Then, head to the famous Three Gorges Museum, the largest monographic museum in China. The exterior of the museum has cambered walls and vitreous dome, representing the history & culture of Three Gorges Project and its origins. Your last stop is Eling Park, one of the old private gardens in Chongqing, built in late Qing Dynasty around 1909 AD. Due to its relatively high altitude, there you can have a bird's eye view of the whole city.
