Eleven-piece sterling silver repousse tea set in rich floral and foliate repousse decoration to include a 6" H teapot and 3.5" H bowl, a sterling tea infuser, four matchboxes, and four match plates. Items are signed, "S. Kirk and Son", bowl is signed, "S. Kirk and Son Inc." Circa 1932. Total weight: 43.92 Ozt.

10: Georgian Sterling Tea Set, Alice Burrows, 1805

Four-piece sterling silver tea and coffee set consists of a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer and double handled sugar. Quality heavy gauge construction with moulded and gadrooned edge decoration on ball feet, with wooden handles and finials, creamer with gold wash interior. London hallmarks with 1805 and 1803 date letters and "ABGB" touchmark for Alice and George Burrows. Coffee pot with 1803 date letter, illegible maker mark and 1938 presentation. All four pieces bear "FVH" monogram. Total weight 64.44 Ozt.

Notable contributors include: U.S. legislator, Counsellor at Law and Attorney General of New Jersey, Robert Gilchrist (1825-1888), Presbyterian minister, and originator of the phrase, "Rum, Romanism, and Rebellion," Samuel D. Burchard (1812-1891), Presbyterian and Congregational minister, Abolitionist, and revival preacher, Henry Belden (1813-1884), and published writer, lyricist, Mrs. A.B. Whelpley, also of New York.

68: 19th C. Italian Wrought Iron Figural Doorbell

Antique Italian-forged iron wall mounted figural mechanical doorbell in the style of Samuel Yellin. Ringing mechanism is actuated by a robed figure with detailed facial features holding a branch aloft in his left hand. Iron work is accentuated with fleur de lis designs. Bell is embossed with what appears to be three initials, possibly beginning with letters V and F. "Made in Italy" is stamped on reverse. General rust consistent with age and exposure to the elements. Measures 36" H.

There are four glass beads and two metal attachments at the tail that simulate the sound of a rattlesnake. There is a small palpable mass below a stitched area on the underbelly measuring 1.5" in length. The entire pouch measures 15" in length.
