From the

Master...

e ultimate goal of the individual soul is the eternal service of God and Guru. e meaning of service is implicitly following the instructions of your Guru for the sake of pleasing Him. Humility, submissiveness and forbearance are foremost in devotional service. erefore, service should be performed selflessly for the pleasure of Hari and Guru. Refrain from looking at others faults.

e mind is an enemy, do not listen to it.

ere never was, is, nor will be, any devotional practice greater than selfless service.

A devotee's

Gratitude...

Our adulation, admiration and love for our Spiritual Master, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, fill our hearts and souls to the utmost. He has destroyed the darkness of ignorance by explaining that we are the soul, and that the divine lotus feet of Radha Krishna are our only real possession. Without him, we would be drowning hopelessly forever in the ocean of the material world. rough his grace we have devotional experiences of the divine abode which is made of eternal bliss and happiness. By taking his shelter, we can receive a reflection of divine happenings and with full sincere dedication, a time may come where we will join him in the world of divine Vrindavan forever. Our Guru who is always absorbed in divine love bliss, upli s fallen souls through his causeless mercy. It is impossible to attain God without the grace of such a Guru, who holds our hand and takes us to our beloved Radha Krishna. We are unimaginably blessed to take shelter at the lotus feet of such a great Spiritual Master. Issue 5, October 2018

They have almost the same meaning: God and Guru are one, not lesser nor greater. In the Bhagwatam, Uddhav asked Shri Krishna a question, “Between God and Guru, who is greater? Is God greater or is Guru greater or are both equal?” Shri Krishna answered, “Acharyam mam vijani-yat... Guru and Myself are not two. If We were two, then the question as to who is greater and who is lesser would arise.” Whatever actions we do in 24 hours, has a 'why' (a reason) attached to it. 3

We perform every action with a motive… only for happiness. But the one who has attained perfect happiness, why would he do anything? So, he does nothing; free forever. Now, God does everything for him. For this reason, he is not responsible for his actions. God says, "Acharyam mam vijani-yat... Your Guru and I are not separate. I sit inside your Guru and govern everything. That is who a Guru is.” This philosophy is described in the third verse (of the homage): 'Esha vai bhagavan sakchat…', Guru is God personified. Not equal to God, but God personified. If you apply your intellect in the actions of your Guru –

"He acts like I do, so he is like me" – then you will become a transgressor and go thousands and thousands of miles away from God. We have also done this. We met uncountable Gurus in uncountable lives. We saw their actions, and after seeing their actions, we said, “They are just like mine. Whatever we do, he does the same.” God Himself performs all actions of the Guru, and all the actions of God are done by yogmaya. There is a power of God, called yogmaya. Just as our actions are governed by maya, God has yogmaya. What is the difference between maya and yogmaya? One who does anything Arise! Awake! JKP eMagazine

through maya, reaps the fruits. One who does anything through yogmaya, remains in his personality and performs (seemingly) mayic actions. In other words, he remains detached from maya and outwardly does mayic actions. Internally, Arjun's heart was united with God, and externally he is killing everyone. Hanuman Ji set Sri Lanka on fire, and internally every pore of his body was filled with Bhagwan Ram.

Material ears cannot listen to the flute. Shri Krishna played his flute and Lord Shiva came running from his abode, Shiv lok, but husbands of gopis, who were sleeping next to them, didn't hear the sound of the flute. They kept sleeping. So divine senses and intellect are required and Guru will make them divine. But, he can divinise them only after total heart purification, not before that.

So, all the God realised Saints have one personality, in the sense that they are God personified. Those Saints who have truly realised God, not those who mislead people through their lectures, are the ones who are 'Shrotriya' and also 'Brahmnishth'. In other words, one who can endow upon us knowledge of the scriptures, and one who has divine love. Such a Saint is called Guru; one who can bestow divine knowledge upon us and can guide us in our devotions until God realisation.

In this way, Guru does everything. From A, B, C, D, all the way up to God realisation. After God realisation, Guru and God do not remain separate. They become one but appear as two for the sake of seeing.

At present, we are doing devotion to Radha Krishna. Why do we do devotion? To purify our hearts. That's it! We have to do only one thing – purify our heart. It's impossible for us to do anything beyond this to attain God, visualise God. Devotion to God by shedding tears of love and longing.

A Gopi is standing and Shri Krishna is standing. Both are devotees of each other. Shri Krishna desires the service of the devotee, and the devotee desires the service of Shri Krishna. So, the meaning of these verses is that Guru is God personified. We should not interpret the actions of Saints, governed by yogmaya, as material actions and commit transgressions. Rather, we should purify our heart by wholeheartedly practicing the devotion prescribed by them.

What after this? Number 1, Guru showed us the path. Number 2, Guru inspired us to do sadhana (devotion). Number 3, heart became purified and Guru gifted us with spiritual power: divine eyes, divine ears, divine nose, divine taste, divine touch, and divine intellect. Now we can perceive God, listen to His words and know Him, because Guru bestowed the power of God's senses, mind and intellect. God is divine. Material vision cannot perceive God. New Article The Soul of All the Rasik Saints

Part 2 of 4 Mahabhao means the absolute supreme expression or experience of Divine love. In Mahabhao only Radha remains in a conscious state, Krishna drowns in that love. The Rasik Saints of Vrindavan know this secret and experience a part of that love. Their experience is called bhao, a part of Mahabhao. Where did this love originate from? From Radha, Herself. Radha is the origin of Divine Love. The state of Mahabhao is beyond intellect, beyond experience. Gopis don't experience it and Krishna drowns in that love. Only Radha experiences it. On the other hand, when it comes to experiencing Divine Love, Radha and Krishna are both exactly the same. You can experience the same kind of love by worshipping Krishna alone and respecting Radha or Radha alone and respecting Krishna or worshipping both. All the gopis love Radha and Krishna, but sometimes they favour a little towards Krishna or a little towards Radha.

advice she feels like a friend. All relationships like friend, mother and companion are there. Radha is the originator of all the blissful experiences of Vrindavan and Golok. When Krishna went to Dwarika, He was acting like almighty God. Krishna was the same as He was in Braj, but His love was a little more restricted in Dwarika. Who is Krishna? Radha Herself. So you can say that it was also Radha's grace which was shown through Krishna in Dwarika, and all the Dwarkawasis (residents of Dwarika) experienced the love of Krishna which was really coming from Radha. The original source was Radha. To be continued in the next issue.

Shri Krishna said to

A rjun... Jo bhi aye jayevah Govind Radhey, Koi koi jake bhina aye bata de. (The one who has come into the world will also have to leave one day. A few leave and never return to this world.) Shri Krishna said to Arjun– "The one who takes birth will also die one day and the one who will die will be reborn. This is a world of comings and goings." However, Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "No, it isn't like that because there are some souls who leave, never to return to this world. In other words, the individual who attains God realisation before the time of his physical death attains Sainthood and therefore, does not come back into the world." Shri Krishna declares in the Gita - "Once a soul enters My abode, he never leaves again." It would be a different matter altogether, if he (the Saint) voluntarily takes birth (in the world for the welfare of souls), but maya can no longer tie him down as a prisoner. However, for the other souls afflicted by maya, the cycle of birth and death will continue. This process is known as avagaman - coming and going, coming and going.

Shankaracharya said, "A soul will take birth and die again. He will enter the womb of a mother; he will come out again; he will die again to be born again. We have been subjected to this cycle (of birth and death) since eternity. This cycle will only end when we will give utmost priority and importance to bhakti to God, bhakti to Guru, service to God and service to Guru, and exclusively and wholeheartedly surrender to God and Guru while continuously remembering Them."

A divine devotee says, When will I see my beloved Krishna, Whose pink lips are enticing and sweet, Whose look and smile is heart-captivating, Whose talk is cooling to the heart and mind, Whose eyes are beautiful and full of nectar, Whose complexion is like the sky-blue sapphire, and enticing effects of Whose flute is world famous.

Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj The Descension of Divine Love and Bliss

Just one charm of his divine loving nature is that whoever met him, thought “He loves me the most”. Even more charming than this, Shri Maharaj Ji's divine love, divine protection and divine association is even more strongly felt now, than when he was on this earth planet. So coming close to him now, through his books, his chanting, his videos, visiting his ashrams, will create an intense feeling of closeness and love for any soul who is looking for perfect love and happiness. We have a conventional belief that saints live in the mountains, on the bank of a river or in a quiet quaint hut in a place of pilgrimage. They either sleep on the floor or on a bed of rags. They lead a renunciant life etc. In fact, those saints who are helping our planet generally may live like that.

shared for posterity. Even his kirtans would disclose his extraordinary divine personality glowing in ecstasy. When he danced in unrestrained enthusiasm in the ‘Hari Bol’ kirtan, the whole environment exuded Divine Love Bliss. As one gets to know him and comes close to his heart, his title of 5th original Jagadguru of this age subsides and the feelings and thoughts of “my Maharaj Ji” is all that remains. His video discourses and chantings are such that he never had to ask anyone to quit non-veg food or alcohol. His philosophy has such a one-of-a-kind tremendous impact on the devotees that they naturally desist from these things.

He never advised his followers to renounce their family life. He said live in the family and practice devotion. Also, However, Shri Maharaj Ji had come to our earth planet in a one's desires for material objects and happiness from them family of saints, so that his grace could be distributed are greatly minimised. beyond his desired time here. Shri Maharaj Ji's guidelines allow devotees to live in the One never knew when he would deliver a life changing world and take care of their responsibilities while growing speech. It could be in front of an enormous crowd or sitting their devotion in their hearts and minds through casually with a few devotees. So he was videotaped remembrance of Radha Krishna and their leelas, dham, everywhere he went. His golden words to be saved and chants and following the practice of bhakti.
