Key to my success was sourcing and establishing friendly/professional relationships with existing and potential landlords, whether they are an individual property owner, a property developer bank or a sheikh’s office, providing unique strategy solutions tailor-made to the specific requirements of each client. Movimentto Ltd, London, UK Founder/Director 2003 – 2008 I set up a small wholesale fashion accessories company from the basement of my flat in London and within a year we grew to 15 staff, opened a store/showroom on the Kings Road, Chelsea and turned over ₤1m+. Working closely with designers and manufacturers from South America I created a series of unique collections and set out to sell them worldwide. I participated in approximately twenty trade fairs every year from London to New York, Los Angeles to Tokyo, Paris to Milan, etc. having sold my collections to everyone from small boutiques to major fashion outlets around the world. Artists such as Beyonce, Kylie Minogue and Prince all appeared in the media wearing Movimentto accessories. The success of the business was primarily accredited to the quality and originality of the product and to my natural sales techniques. Douro Azul, Oporto, Portugal PR & Marketing 2001 – 2003 I worked as head of Public Relations and Sales and Marketing for one of the leading tourism companies in the north of Portugal. The company controls seven tour boats working along the Douro river, a sightseeing helicopter, four first class restaurants and two five star hotels. My job was to ensure that our products were being divulged in


the most attractive manner possible and that the client was entirely satisfied. I was also responsible for all contact with the media.
