Canterbury Court has engaged JLL to manage their expansion project to add a total of 300,000 s.f. and 208 units across two buildings—the Garden Tower and Health Center—to their existing campus. Both buildings are currently in construction and are anticipated to open in Q3 of 2023.

Hawk’s Cay

Hawk’s Cay in Duck Key, Florida underwent a $60 million renovation to the 177 guestrooms, 250 two and three-bedroom villas, full-service marina, six restaurants, saltwater lagoon, five swimming pools and the Calm Waters Spa. Through JLL’s onsite project management, the resort celebrated its grand opening in August of 2018, four months earlier than originally scheduled.

Mary Margaret Murphy Vice President

Senior Living

Mary Margaret Murphy is a Vice President for JLL’s Project and Development Services group and leads the Senior Living team in Atlanta. Her key roles and responsibilities include team leadership and project management of major new construction and renovation projects for commercial and institutional owners. She leads teams through site due diligence, design, pre-construction, and construction. Mary Margaret is known for her exceptional client service, strong communication, and collaborative team building and leadership. She currently serves as Project Executive for the Canterbury Court Enrichment Project, a $200M expansion to an existing Life Plan Community in Atlanta.

David McKinney

Stephen Prather is a Project Manager in the JLL Project and Development Services Southeast Central group. With a construction background and civil-engineering degree, Stephen contributes his expertise and skills to Development projects across all markets. Stephen is consistent, dependable, and accurate in carrying out responsibilities for successful project completion.

David McKinney is a Senior Project Manager for JLL’s Project and Development Services group out of the Atlanta office. Some of David’s responsibilities include developing and managing the project scope, budget and schedules, as well as design, construction coordination and administration. David is skilled in client communication, contractor management and has vast experience in full and select Development and Senior Living properties. Along with his ability to successfully manage project costs and resources, David attains successful results on all of his projects.

David Shonk is a Managing Director in the Project and Development Services group and leads the Development Management group in Atlanta. With over 27 years of experience in real estate development, David has provided consulting and management services for a variety of project types in both public and private sectors. He has diversified and extensive experience in all phases of real estate consulting, development, design management and construction management. David’s leadership and experience has resulted in a cumulative savings of $26 million of managed project costs for his clients.

David Varghese is a Senior Project Manager for the Project and Development Services group at JLL. His clients include healthcare, civic, corporate and commercial developments. David is known for his collaborative approach throughout the duration of a project and his keen eye for detail in each phase. His experiences includes master planning, site due diligence, community and public relations, design management and construction management. David currently serves as a Project Manager on the Grady Correll Pavilion. The Grady Correll Pavilion is a new, 10-story free-standing ambulatory surgery and clinic center which includes an integrated 4 level parking garage.

Matthew is an Associate Project Manager for the Development team within JLL’s Project and Development Services group in Atlanta, Georgia. His blended experience in the construction, development, student housing and senior living markets allows Matthew to offer a unique holistic approach to understanding the client’s needs while acting as a central liaison to ensure timely progress for the project. Matthew excels in business development and client relations and consistently ensures the integrity and organization of all project information while focusing on his client.
