Lovely musical opportunities (fabulous samba, music lessons, specialist teaching from Dorset Music service clarinet/flute). Wide array of clubs for the children to attend. Eco-committee, school council and the sports council - the children feel privileged to part of these groups and want to help the school improve. A wonderful forest school/garden area has been developed within the school grounds. A friendly welcoming school with high expectations of all students. Fantastic school, both of my girls have thrived at Sherborne Primary, despite being very different characters! I particularly like the focus on encouraging kind and polite behaviour - social skills just as important as formal education in my experience The teachers are committed, passionate and work incredibly hard! They are consistent, kind and tireless! Lovely school, happy atmosphere and happy child! The head teacher and deputy head are fantastic. They are inspirational to the students and have a great team of staff supporting them! Vibrant lovely school I feel that this school is innovative in its outlook, but traditional in its values. It is full to the brim with ideas already that involve the children in learning, and interest them. It is welcoming to visitors, and the ethos is obvious on first step inside the school. I cannot think of anything that I feel should be different. Communication with parents has improved massively - photo of weekly board on Facebook absolutely brilliant for working parents who drop off / collect from SCAPA. Keep it up!
