Week 7 - Monday 8th June Dear Parents A few key changes for our home learners: Many EYFS children return to school full time on Monday. The school and home learners both have the same planning. Therefore the home learning slides will be different this week to enable you as well as the staff to be more flexible and meet the needs of all children (who as you know have different abilities and learn at different speeds). Starting this week we will only be awarding home learners rewards such as Star of The Week at the end of the week rather than at the end of every day. We will be using Oxford Owls so if you haven't already become a member (FOR FREE) please do so this week. Please remember the activities here are suggestions to keep your child engaged in learning and making progress at home. We will continue to look carefully at what you upload onto Tapestry. However we will usually only have time to ‘like’ these rather than write a comment now we are teaching full time in school. We are always available for support so please message us and we will reply. We like to know at least once a week how your child is progressing so please keep in touch. Thank you for continuing to support and encourage learning at home. In case you or your child are missing tangrams here are lots of Tangram activities on Twinkl (many easier than the ones you had before Easter!)! There are lots of new files for you to use if you wish in Documents under ‘Week 7 (June 8th)’ and some of the other files. These both support the slides below OR offer some alternatives. They are worth looking at even if you do not wish to print them they may give you ideas. Many thanks for your continued support and the wonderful work you are doing with your child. From Mrs Rose, Mrs Maskew, Mrs Batty and the EYFS team.
