Help slides: Ordering Numbers Remember that the word ascending means to go up or increase in value. Example 1, 2, 3, 4‌. Descending means to go down in value or decrease. Example 5,4,3,2,1
The green squares = 100 each The green rods = 10 each
If I chose 3 green counters the number would be 300 If I chose 2 green and 3 yellow the number would be 230
Both blue and green squares are equal to 100. The diagrams are using diene block pictures to represent the following values: Blue and green larger squares = 100 Rods =10 Small squares =1
