Week 3 Dear Year 2 Please see the work for Week 2 in this PDF. There is no expectation to print the work. Do try and complete it on paper at home or enjoy the online quizzes where available. Learn by Heart Facts : Number • Count in steps of 2, 3, 5 and 10. • Count in tens from any number, and give 10 more or less than a given number to 100 – e.g. 10 more than 24 is 34. • Recognise and use <, > and = signs. • Be able to rapidly recall of number bonds to 20 and relate to other facts (e.g. using 3 + 7 = 10, 10 - 7 = 3 and 10 – 3 = 7 to calculate 30 + 70 = 100, 100 - 70 = 30 and 100 – 30 = 70). • Know in any order multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables up to x12. • Recognise, name and write fractions 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and 3/4 of a whole. • Count in halves and quarters to ten.

5 minute write! This week we are going to do a 5 minute write every day. Some of you will be used to doing this but for those of you who arenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t, we have a picture that we work on all week but there will be a different element of challenge every day. The only rule isâ&#x20AC;Ś You are only allowed to write for 5 minutes a day! So set a timer and turn the page...
Write a description of the setting. Make sure to include expanded noun phrases. Remember to use a comma between adjectives.
