Campers who choose both morning and afternoon camps in the same week will be able to stay on campus for lunch – providing a full day of fun!

ARTS CAMPS

100% CHANCE OF RAIN KIDS MUSICAL

The story of Noah and the Ark will come to life with lilting, singable melodies, infectious humor, and theologically sound text. The show ends with the promise of a “100% chance of love!” Campers will perform for family and friends at the end of the week.

AmericAn Girl Doll STeAm ADvenTureS

American Girl Doll lovers will have a blast as they unleash their creativity by integrating the components of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) and history! Campers and their dolls will enjoy activities focused on time, money, and seasons, and projects like sewing a quilt for their doll, creating Doll & Me bracelets, and other visual art masterpieces. The week will also be sprinkled with tea parties, games, storytelling, American Girl Books, and plenty of fun and laughter.

AROUND THE WORLD DANCE

Get excited to dance around the world and explore the beauty of our differences and similarities as we explore music and dance, movement games, and choreography! Campers will learn new steps from around the globe, dancing our favorite way: TOGETHER!!!

AROUND THE WORLD MUSICAL ADVENTURES

Your child will love stamping their musical passport as we “travel” to many countries learning about composers and their music, and gain hands-on experience with musical instruments such as Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, Drums, Singing, and more! Parents, this is a great way to find out which instrument interests your child. Daily musical crafts will bring out the inner artist in your child, too!

Around the World Visual Arts

Travel around the world using art as your tour guide! Along the way, campers will create artistic souvenirs to document their journey and get stamps for their Camp passport.

Crochet & Create

Calling all crafters- this summer camp is for you! Whether you know how to knit or crochet or you are just beginning, we will spend the week tangled in yarn and fun. From loom projects to pom-poms and so much morethis camp will keep you in stitches!

DRAWING IN 3D FOR TEENS AND TWEENS

Campers will learn simple drawing techniques to create artwork that accurately represents 3D objects and spaces using techniques including drawing, painting, and collage.

Drawing & Painting

In this technique-focused art camp, students will develop their skills in realistic drawing and painting.

GODSPELL JR.

Your budding star will love this amazing Broadway production camp! Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score, this three-week, full-day camp culminates with a fully staged public performance for family and friends on June 23rd at 7:00 pm. “Godspell” boasts a string of well-loved songs, and the parables of Jesus Christ come hearteningly to life.

Group GuiTAr

Campers will learn guitar basics and music fundamentals, including fingerboard knowledge, music notation, strumming, basic techniques, and chords. We’ll introduce concepts in music theory, chord symbols, fingerstyle, and guitar picking techniques and expose campers to guitar literature and an understanding of many different musical genres.

JAZZ/HIP HOP

Beginning dancers who love to dance with ROCKIN’ music will love this jazz and hip hop class. Campers will learn new moves and fundamentals of these two genres of popular dance.

Jumanji Immersive Theatre

What would you do if a board game magically dropped you into a stampede? Using the book Jumanji as a springboard, design your own game that becomes a dramatic adventure! Campers will perform for family and friends on the last day of camp.

lATin FuSion DAnce

This camp will have your kids working on their Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Latin Dance Moves with the help of Encanto, Coco and more!

LITTLE BARDS - THE BEST OF SHAKESPEARE

Campers will explore the crazy fun of a true Shakespeare play written just for kids while they express creativity, build an ensemble and collaborate to decide how to present their play! Exposing kids to the Bard’s language and stories creates amazing fun. There will be a performance at the end of the week for family and friends.

Living Books Art Camp

This creative visual arts camp will revolve around amazing children’s literature. Each day there will be a new book focus that will incorporate various mediums like oil, pastel, and watercolor, building house sculptures and creating a natural habitat on the beautiful Sacred Heart campus with found objects for critter inhabitants! Books will truly come alive for these campers!

Mixed Media Summer Fun

In this summer-themed art class, students will create mixed-media projects, play active art games, and even take art outdoors!

Mystery Makers Theatre

Shhh! Youu… yeah, you! Are you a Mystery Maker? Character Creator? Theatrical Thinker? We have the perfect camp - where you’ll create the whole mystery from scratch! Campers will explore their own creativity by brainstorming a mystery, creating characters, writing a play with dialogue, and staging it with costumes, props, and set. Students will perform their collaborative piece for family and friends at the end of the week and take home their very own original play signed by their fellow campers!

PORTRAITURE FOR TEENS AND TWEENS

Celebrate the Juneteenth holiday as campers create artwork inspired by Black Artists and learn a variety of new artistic techniques while developing portrait drawing skills. Campers will create fiber collages inspired by Bisa Butler, mixed media portraits in the style of Kehinde Wiley, and much more! Your child will create portfolioquality work that is sure to wow during this unforgettable week of creativity and celebration of diversity.

Puppet Art & Theater

Campers will learn the basic skills of puppetry, including how to make and manipulate puppets, create simple puppetry scenes, and develop their own puppet shows!

STOP MOTION VISUAL ARTS

Campers will create mixed-media art pieces that will come to life through the magic of stop motion. Art techniques will include drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture, and we’ll bring these pieces of art to life through simple stop motion!

Storybook Dance

A fantasy land of pure imagination awaits your child this summer! Campers will enter an enchanted and magical world of make-believe, a whimsical world of princes and princesses, where anything is possible if it can be imagined! This camp is designed to introduce children to the art of dance, develop self-confidence and improve motor skills. Each day brings a new adventure, an exciting theme to explore, and a new tale of expression in creative movement.

Summer SAFAri DAnce

In the jungle, the mighty jungle campers will explore the adventure of movement by dancing their way through the week! Your camper will learn rhythm by stomping like an elephant to the beat and learn creative movement by listening to lyrics and adding movement to tell the story.

SUPERHERO AND PRINCESSES DANCE

Your child will love dressing up every day, dancing to music, playing Freeze Dance with Queen Elsa, creating superhero masks to demonstrate bravery, reading fun stories, playing games like Frog, Frog, Princess & much more! Get ready to Dance, Dance, Dance!

Watch Out Broadway

Audition Prep and Audition Prep Jr. Spend the week “Defying Gravity!” Campers will work with a voice teacher and seasoned performer to strengthen vocal technique and expand their video and live audition skills, including basic makeup tips and dress. We’ll finish the week with a song ready to perform, a knowledge of how to slate, and a simple headshot. Students will do a mock audition for family and friends on the last day of class!

Sacred Heart School for the Arts offers Private Music Lessons in 15, 30, 45 and 60 minute increments throughout June and July.

ARCHERY

Whether you are brand new to the sport or have been hitting bullseyes for years, you’ll have fun with SHA’s Archery team and coaches this summer!

Volleyball

Summer camp is a great place for young girls to learn and develop new skills, and work to improve their individual and team skills with Coach Versen and current SHA players. All skill levels are welcome.

Basketball

Your camper will grow her game and broaden her skills in this camp run by the amazing Coach Moir and the current Sacred Heart THREE-PEAT State Champion basketball players! Come learn from the best! All skill levels are welcome.

Cross–Country

Summer camp will be four fun days where your daughter can learn more about cross country, meet new friends, and hone her running skills! Camp is run by Coach Rick Heim and his staff, as well as current Sacred Heart runners. All skill levels are welcome.

LACROSSE

Join Coach Dennis Truman, his staff, and current SHA Lacrosse players for summer camp to expand your gameplay knowledge and improve your catching, throwing, and ground ball skills. You will grow your game, meet new friends, and have fun. All skill levels are welcome.

Soccer

Join Varsity Coach Shaun Francis, his staff, and current SHA Soccer Stars for a fun week of camp to help develop your ball-handling skills and field awareness and learn more about the game! All skill levels are welcome.

FIELD HOCKEY

Coach Eleanor Mitchell, and her staff would love to have you join the team for three days of ageappropriate fundamentals and gameplay. Come develop your skills and learn from our State Champion SHA Field Hockey players. All skill levels are welcome.

Tennis

Join head coach Whitney Thompson to help hone your tennis skills, work with current SHA players, and improve your singles and doubles match play. All skill levels are welcome.

ENRICHMENT CAMPS

6th Grade Math & Reading Summer Bridge

Don’t let the summer slump overshadow the excitement of middle school! Stay sharp and be ready for your next chapter with a math and reading summer bridge designed specifically for rising 6th graders.

8TH GRADE MATH SUMMER BRIDGE

Eight is an even number, it’s a perfect cube, but it’s only great when you don’t let the summer slump take over. Eighth grade is an important year before high school. Get off to a great start with our math summer bridge camp.

Babysitting Certification

Jumpstart your summer earning and join us for babysitting camp! Get CPR and First Aid certified, learn the do’s and don'ts of babysitting, age-appropriate activities, how to communicate with families, and so much more! End your week with a business plan, business cards, and all that you will need to be the most soughtafter and responsible babysitter in town!

CAMP OUT WITH A GOOD BOOK

Students will investigate books (both reading and writing) as they camp out in the SHMS library.

Coco

Fans of Coco will enjoy a week of Spanish immersion and activities. We are un poco loco about our campers and all the fun we will have!

encAnTO

Back by popular demand! Does your son or daughter love Encanto? If so, they will enjoy this week of Spanish immersion and fun. But we won’t talk about Bruno!

FOOD AROUND THE WORLD

During this camp, your child will expand their palate while focusing on cuisine from a different country every day. They will enjoy hearing from guest speakers, learning cooking techniques, and making scrumptious dishes from around the world.

Games Galore

Don’t be BORED this summer! Beat the heat and come inside for some friendly competition and board games. Learn about strategy and skill, and have fun trying out some old favorites and new games too. The only thing you won’t need…is a console!

High School Readiness

Rising 8th graders will get acquainted with testing and topics found on the High School Placement Test. They’ll become familiar with content and structure, test-taking techniques, and take a pre-HSPT.

ROBOTICS

Students will investigate technology as they explore circuits, learn code, and design robots.

Super Sleuths

Calling all super sleuths!! Does your child love a good mystery to solve? Does she/he enjoy using clues to solve puzzles and can’t get enough of the breakout/escape room activities and a good “who dunnit”? Join us for a week of super sleuthing!
