Concept
Esperantoplatsen connects to both history and future. The 17th century
The New Esperantoplatsen Art Gallery
bastion wall of Carolus Rex stands opposite to the power plant and the visual connection to Gothenburgs shipyard history across the river. In a few years the adjacent area of Skeppsbron will be transformed with new developments resulting in public connections along the river and a new tram track passing Esperantoplatsen giving it a more central position in the city. The context gives good conditions for a new art gallery that connects
