It’s still not too late to contribute to this fund which enables us to decorate our church during the 50 days of the Easter season. A list of the donors and the names of those being remembered will by published at the end of the Easter Season in the May 30-31, 2015 bulletin. The suggested donation is $10. You may use the envelope in your packets, or one in the pew. Remember to include the name(s) of your loved one(s) to be remembered and the name(s) of the donor.
Envelope Change Beginning with your June envelope packet, the Building Fund envelope has been replaced with a Maintenance Fund envelope. The change was made as the monies collected are primarily used for maintenance & repairs to our parish buildings. Your continued generosity is both necessary and appreciated.
Religious Education/CCD As you may recall, our original plan was to provide a week of Religious Education the first week of June in addition to monthly education via the homily at the 10:30AM Sunday Mass. Since most parents expressed a preference for weekly classes instead, the summer week has been cancelled. A Vacation Bible School program will be planned for the future. Beginning September 9, 2015 we will have regular Wednesday classes from 6:00PM to 7:30PM for grades 1 to 11. Separate sacramental preparation classes for first Penance and first Communion will be offered on Sundays from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. Please email Kathy at mmjwoodworth@att.net as soon as possible to preregister your child(ren) for Religious Education/CCD classes in the Fall.
