1 Annual Spring Family Fun Day The Men of MMJ will host a family fun day on May 31, 2015, beginning at 12:00Noon. We’ll have live music, pony/horse rides, games, etc. for all ages. The parish will provide pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring your favorite sides, drinks and lawn chairs. There will be fun for everyone so please mark your calendar and make plans to attend as a single, couple or family All are welcome!!!

Church Hall Stove For a variety of reasons, not the least of which is safety due to the output of C02 in our confined space, the commercial stove in the hall needs to be replaced. The cost for a new, 10 burner commercial gas stove is approximately $7,000. If anyone would like to make a donation toward this purchase, please contact Fr. Paul. Additionally, the Vulcan commercial stove we are currently using will be available for purchase. If you or someone you know may be interested in making an offer, please contact Fr. Paul.

From The Pastor Spring is the season during which parents typically begin to think about registering their child/ ren for school in the fall. Please remember that if your child/ren attend(s) a Catholic school which assesses a surcharge for non-parishioners, and you are an active, registered member of Mary, Mother of Jesus Parish, we will pay that assessment for you. This is one way to assist everyone in being able to register in the parish of their spiritual choice rather than financial need. Please feel free to contact me. As a former smoker, I am personally aware of how that addiction impacts the lives of so many people. In an effort to help others become former smokers as well, I’m assessing if there is sufficient interest in attending a smoking cessation program at Mary, Mother of Jesus Parish. The classes would be taught by a certified cessation counselor. Please email me as soon as possible to indicate your interest. After which, I’ll be able to determine if we have enough people to offer this educational opportunity.
