From The Pastor Spring is the season during which parents typically begin to think about registering their child/ ren for school in the fall. Please remember that if your child/ren attend(s) a Catholic school which assesses a surcharge for non-parishioners, and you are an active, registered member of Mary, Mother of Jesus Parish, we will pay that assessment for you. This is one way to assist everyone in being able to register in the parish of their spiritual choice rather than financial need. Please feel free to contact me. As a former smoker, I am personally aware of how that addiction impacts the lives of so many people. In an effort to help others become former smokers as well, I’m assessing if there is sufficient interest in attending a smoking cessation program at Mary, Mother of Jesus Parish. The classes would be taught by a certified cessation counselor. Please email me as soon as possible to indicate your interest. After which, I’ll be able to determine if we have enough people to offer this educational opportunity.

Seeking a Jack (or Jill) of all Trades Our parish is in need of a maintenance-type person for approximately 5-10 hours per week. The applicant should be able to handle minor plumbing, electrical, painting, using a ladder, elementary carpentry, etc. The areas of work will include the church, hall and rectory. Please contact Fr. Paul by phone or email. The salary will be an hourly rate depending upon experience and ability.
