July 16 - July 17, 2016

PARISH NEWS

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION/CCD

Open Youth Night

Jr./Sr. High Religious Education

Thursday, July 21st 5:30PM-7:00PM in the youth center Come hang out with us! We will have music, snacks, pool and air hockey and lots of fun! Please feel free to bring a friend!!

This fall, grades 7-10 will meet on Sunday evenings in the Youth Center following the 5:30PM Mass. While it is our intention that the students attend the 5:30PM Mass, it is not a requirement should they choose to attend Mass at an alternate time. These weekly gatherings will be a combination of religious education and youth ministry, ending at 8:00PM. This change from Wednesday evenings is to avoid, as much as possible, the conflicts that periodically happen on Wednesday evenings. It is also an opportunity for this age group to meet exclusively with teachers Matt and Katie in a more relaxed, multi -educational experience where issues of current events and religion can be addressed and discussed. Registration and an orientation meeting for parents and students will be announced soon.

Vacation Bible School Thank you to everyone, young and young-atheart, who volunteered their time and talent to help with our first annual VBS week. It was a fun and successful week and our goal is to make it even bigger and better next year!!
