We have concluded our sessions and will be taking a hiatus for the Summer. Adult Religious Education we resume after Labor Day. Fr. Paul will teach a 7 week course on the Sacraments, Deacon Pat will continue Bible and Prayer Studies, and a class on the Mass is also planned.

Fall Garage Sale Saturday, September 19, 2015 6:00AM to 2:00PM As you continue to clean and organize your homes, please save any garage sale worthy items you may have lying around your house or garage etc. All donations for our sale are appreciated. Ministerial Outreach An important part of our mission as disciples of Jesus Christ is to minister to the needs of the least of our brothers and sisters. If you know of anyone in Woodworth, Catholic or not, who would benefit from a Thanksgiving and Easter food basket, financial, spiritual or nutritional outreach, please contact Kathy in the parish office. You may do this anonymously if you so choose.

Outside Church Repairs Several inmates from the Rapides Parish Jail are scheduled to be here this coming week. They will be offering their services to clean, repair and paint the outside of the church, handrails and concrete retaining walls.

Low-Gluten Host Low-Gluten hosts are now available upon request. Please speak with Fr. Paul or Deacon Pat.

2015 Summer Parish Survey Several weeks ago a parish-wide survey was conducted. A summary of the results has been produced and copies are available on the bookshelf in the narthex. Please feel free to take one home. All questions should be directed to Fr. Paul.

2015 PARISH SURVEY RESULTS Located in the Narthex Bookcase

Refreshed In The Spirit Saturday, August 1st 8:30AM to 2:30PM St. Joseph Catholic Center, Alexandria, LA CENLA Magnificat and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Central Louisiana presents Refreshed in the Spirit. If you would like a deeper union with God, a greater love for others, and a fuller presence in your life of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, join us! There is no registration fee, but you must pre-register by July 29th. The day is open to men and women. Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided. Sacraments of the Church Reconciliation/Confession 30 minutes before every weekend Mass for 15 minutes. Baptism Celebrated during any weekend Mass or on Sunday afternoons. Contact the church office. Holy Matrimony Contact the pastor at least six months in advance. Anointing of the Sick and Communion Calls Please call the office when a parishioner is confined at home, is in the hospital, or placed in a nursing home or hospice. Holy Communion is brought weekly to all shut-ins. Mass of Christian Burial All arrangements should be made directly with the funeral home who will then contact the church.
