Prayer Requests The page 3 listing of those for whom we have been asked to pray is in need of reorganization. Please call or email the parish office if the name of a sick or recovering person should be retained. Otherwise we’ll presume that through the grace of God they’ve been returned to full health. Our homebound, nursing home residents, and military personnel will remain unless we are otherwise notified.

Diocesan Planning Study The diocesan-wide planning study is off to a GREAT START! The first focus groups were well attended and provided everyone with a chance to find out more about the proposed plans and then give their feedback. Please consider attending one of these remaining focus group meetings: Tuesday, August 25th - 6:30PM St. Anthony of Padua Church - Natchitoches Wednesday, August 26th - 6:30PM St. Joseph Church - Marksville

Sacraments of the Church Reconciliation/Confession 30 minutes before every weekend Mass for 15 minutes. Baptism Celebrated during any weekend Mass or on Sunday afternoons. Contact the church office. Holy Matrimony Contact the pastor at least six months in advance. Anointing of the Sick and Communion Calls Please call the office when a parishioner is confined at home, is in the hospital, or placed in a nursing home or hospice. Holy Communion is brought weekly to all shut-ins. Mass of Christian Burial All arrangements should be made directly with the funeral home who will then contact the church.
