The Twenty-Fifth Sunday In Ordinary Time
September 19 - September 20, 2015
PARISH NEWS Catechetical Sunday
Blessing of the Animals
This Sunday at the 10:30 Mass we will be commissioning our catechists, i.e., religious education teachers and youth ministers. This is also an appropriate way for our parish to recognize those who willingly share their faith with our youth. Catechetical Sunday is also an opportunity for all of us to rededicate ourselves as a community of faith.
Sunday, October 4th - 12:00PM (Noon) In commemoration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron of animals and the environment, we will have a special blessing for your pets. Please bring your pets to the front of the church. (Dogs should be leashed or crated, and cats should be crated!) You can bring your birds, your fish or your large animals in a trailer! Please join us with your families as we celebrate all God’s creatures great and small!!
