WE REMEMBER OUR BELOVED DEAD

We are continuing to collect nonperishable protein, e.g. canned tuna, canned meats, peanut butter, etc. A receptacle for this purpose is located in the narthex. Thank you for your generosity.

Located near the baptismal font is our parish’s Book of Remembrance. You are invited to write the names of any deceased for which you would like us to pray during the month of November. They will be collectively included every weekend in the Prayers of the Faithful.

HALLOWEEN CANDY DRIVE We are sponsoring a booth at the Annual Woodworth Halloween Event, October 31st. A receptacle is in the narthex for your donations of Halloween candy. We also need volunteers to help. Please call Diane Fuqua at 451-4363.

JOINING OUR CATHOLIC COMMUNITY: THE RCIA If you are reading this right now, and you are not a member of our Roman Catholic Church, then we’d like to invite you: Come and see. That was Jesus’ response to Andrew’s question as to where Jesus was staying. (John 1:39) And that is our invitation to you if you’ve ever thought about being baptized as a Christian disciple of Jesus, or, if you’ve been baptized in another denomination, and you’ve thought about becoming a Roman Catholic. Our preparation and formation program, the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), is always ready to accept those inquiring into becoming fully initiated Catholic Christians. Please email Deacon Pat McCusker at psmccusker.yahoo.com or call (318) 4432145.

ADULT BAPTIZED CATHOLICS WHO NEED CONFIRMATION/COMMUNION The RCIA preparation program described above is also the means for baptized Catholics who are adults to finish their sacraments of initiation. Please call Deacon Pat McCusker at (318) 4452145 or email psmccusker.yahoo.com.
