This committee is being formed to more effectively communicate our Church’s message of faith and action. Chaired by parishioner Jennifer Foote, we will focus on our website, facebook page, etc. All interested parishioners are invited to attend this organizational meeting.

COMMUNAL PENANCE SERVICE Tuesday, December 16th - 6:00PM In addition to Fr. Paul, two visiting priest will also be available for individual confessions.
WEDNESDAY ADVENT PRAYER 3:00PM - Divine Mercy Chaplet and Exposition the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration continues to 6:00PM 6:00PM - Evening Prayer & Benediction You are invited to join with us in prayer anytime during the course of the day. You don’t need stay for the entire time.
MARDI GRAS PARADE COMMITTEE Sunday, December 28th In Cumella Hall after the 8:00AM Mass This meeting will be to discuss and plan ideas for our Church parish to participate in the annual Woodworth Mardi Gras Parade to be held in February. Once again, Diane Fuqua will chair this committee for us. All interested parishioners are invited to attend.
MASS INTENTIONS We are now accepting Mass intentions for 2015. Masses may be celebrated for the living or the dead, in thanksgiving, for birthdays or anniversaries, or any other acceptable need. Please call the parish office.
CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL FLOWER FUND This fund enables us to decorate the Church during the Christmas season. The donors and those to be remembered will be listed in the January 11, 2015 bulletin. The suggested donation is $10. An envelope for this purpose is in the pews, your monthly packet, or one of your own. Don’t forget to include on the envelope the name(s) of your loved one(s) to be remembered/honored.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS COLLECTION This collection is for the benefit of our parish. It is not a gift from the parish to the pastor. Any gift for the pastor may be placed in the collection basket but must be in an envelope specifically designated for that purpose. All Christmas collection envelopes are automatically assumed to be for the benefit of our parish.

Baptism Celebrated during any weekend Mass or on Sunday afternoons. Contact the church office. Holy Matrimony Contact the pastor at least six months in advance. Anointing of the Sick and Communion Calls Please call the office when a parishioner is confined at home, is in the hospital, or placed in a nursing home or hospice. Holy Communion is brought weekly to all shut-ins. Mass of Christian Burial All arrangements should be made directly with the funeral home who will then contact the church.

NEW WEEKLY GOAL Our budget for FI2014-2015 was included as an insert in last weekend’s bulletin. It reflected a budgeted annual collection total of $203,604. This amount divided by 52 (the number of weeks in a year) calculates to $3,916 per week. Achieving this amount every week insures that all the needed ministries, salaries and repairs can be accomplished for the year. We continue to pray and work for the success of our parish family.
