To those who did a magnificent job decorating the hall for our parish Christmas party, especially Linda Amberg, Donna Bordelon, Pat Brister, Beth Chapman, John Hunter, Mike & Marcia Leleux, Gaynell Patty, and Angela Massey.

(The homily at the 6:00PM Mass will be directed to the children and a special “visitor” will be joining us after Communion.) Thursday, December 25th 12:00AM Midnight & 9:30AM

CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL FLOWER FUND This fund enables us to decorate the Church during the Christmas season. The donors and those to be remembered will be listed in the January 11, 2015 bulletin. The suggested donation is $10. An envelope for this purpose is in the pews, your monthly packet, or one of your own. Don’t forget to include on the envelope the name(s) of your loved one(s) to be remembered/honored.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS COLLECTION This collection is for the benefit of our parish. It is not a gift from the parish to the pastor. Any gift for the pastor may be placed in the collection basket but must be in an envelope specifically designated for that purpose. All Christmas collection envelopes are automatically assumed to be for the benefit of our parish.

Reconciliation/Confession 30 minutes before every weekend Mass for 15 minutes.

This meeting will be to discuss and plan ideas for our Church parish to participate in the annual Woodworth Mardi Gras Parade to be held in February. Once again, Diane Fuqua will chair this committee for us. All interested parishioners are invited to attend.

We are now accepting Mass intentions for 2015. Masses may be celebrated for the living or the dead, in thanksgiving, for birthdays or anniversaries, or any other acceptable need. Please call the parish office.

ST. NICHOLAS PICTURES

If you would like to become a registered parishioner please fill out a form, located in the file rack by both doors, and return it by mail or in the collection basket.

The pictures that were taken with St. Nicholas last Sunday are now available. They are located on the deacon’s bench in the narthex.

Baptism Celebrated during any weekend Mass or on Sunday afternoons. Contact the church office. Holy Matrimony Contact the pastor at least six months in advance. Anointing of the Sick and Communion Calls Please call the office when a parishioner is confined at home, is in the hospital, or placed in a nursing home or hospice. Holy Communion is brought weekly to all shut-ins. Mass of Christian Burial All arrangements should be made directly with the funeral home who will then contact the church.
