OLPS VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held the week of June 4-8 for students entering kindergarten through fifth grade. This year’s theme is “Sky: Everything is Possible with God.” Registration forms can be picked up at the church office during regular business hours or go online to www.promptsuccor.org. Registration deadline is this Wednesday, May 23. Sorry, no exceptions. Anyone interested in helping with VBS can phone Paul Hood at 445-9748, ext. 211. WWWWWWW OLPS FAMILY LIFE CENTER: We have officially broken ground for our Family Life Center and construction begins this Thursday, May 24! Ratcliff Construction Company is the contractor for our new 14,000-square foot building which will include a main room which can be divided into two separate rooms; a full commercial kitchen; and youth ministry office and gathering spaces. It will be the perfect place for meetings, parish suppers, receptions, retreats, school assemblies and more! It’s not too late to make a gift or pledge to support this effort of our parish family and show that OLPS is “Where We Belong”! Thanks to all who have given prayer and monetary support and persevered in patience to this point. I am also requesting your patience in that very soon, the section of our main parking lot closest to the Madonna Complex will be part of the construction site and inaccessible. We will temporarily designate more handicapped parking spots along the sidewalk in back of the church. – Father Dan ORDINATION OF CHARLES RAY TO THE PRIESTHOOD: Deacon Charles Ray will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood on Saturday, May 26 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. His first Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving will be held Sunday, May 27 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cathedral. Please pray for him. FATHER’S DAY INTENTIONS: If you would like to remember a living or deceased father, grandfather, uncle, etc., please fill out a 3x5 index card and return it to the church office or you may place it in the collection basket. These names will be placed on the altar and remembered at all of the Masses on Father’s Day, June 17.
