JoAnn Brown

I grew up in Tampa, moved to Jacksonville for my first job and seven years later,moved to Atlanta when I married. I went to work for Gwinnett County Schools and finished my doctorate at the University of Florida. Thirty some odd years later, I have two fabulous girls - now beautiful women, Elizabeth and Jenn, I'm divorced, have been a principal and was a leadership consultant for the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement where I worked with Superintendents and principals across the State of Georgia to improve student achievement and organizational effectiveness. My new venture is Leveraging Leadership LLC which will be a consulting company with a mission to improve leadership capacity for aspiring, novice and experienced school leaders.
