Specific requirements for AS photography brief What you will need to have in your journal 10 photographs (all taken by different photographers if possible, all looking different to each other, however all must link to your chosen theme in some way). Write a paragraph about each photograph (one might be based on your opinion about ideas in your photograph; one might be based on your opinion about the composition in the photograph etc. What you will need to have on your Tumblr PowerPoint (ISSUU)

A copy of the brief (not the specific requirements – just your selected brief from the choice below) Title: Idea 1 Write a brief description of what you are trying to achieve in Idea 1 (must be at least 100 words) Research the work of an artist that inspires you and that is linked to your idea – write one ‘visually only’ or one ‘visually & symbolically’ linked analysis (see the issuu on my tumblr). Read the guidelines and examples and see which one you are confident in writing)

Produce a set of photographs and edit between 6 – 8 photographs (If these photos are not up to standard you will need to re-shoot). Develop these 6 - 8 photographs by experimenting with either art based and / or advanced Photoshop techniques Write a comprehensive evaluation of your work for idea 1

(Select different experimentation techniques to the ones you used in idea 1) Write a comprehensive evaluation of your work for idea 2

Select 3 photographs from Idea 1 and 2 (you can select all 3 from Idea 1, or all 3 from Idea 2, or a mixture between the both) to develop further. Experiment with either art based or advanced Photoshop techniques (whichever one you feel will produce the best results) until you have produced 3 final outcomes which you feel successfully meets the brief
