SPATIAL COMPOSITION

PLAN 1:400

SITE PLAN 1:400

Inspired by the simple form of triangles and lines, I created a simple frame structure. The simplicity of the entire structure creates clean elements within the space SECTION 1:400 2

elements of extrusion, subtraction and sloping in mind. Different materials were incorporated into the model to showcase the different elements.

ASSEMBLAGE Assigned with the composition of grafting, I combined elements of spatial composition and landforming to create a new structure caused by the stress of the two.

NARRATIVE COLLAGE

MEET At last, a realm where borders no longer exist, holographic images sometimes replace our physical bodies. Oxygen hubs and hover board recharge stations are scattered all over the sparkling galaxy. Along with visitors from the past and future, aliens and humans now co-exist harmoniously. Meeting spaces are no longer constrained to one planet, settlers can easily catch up with their friends on Mars or go on a casual drive through the Milky way. In fact, you can travel anywhere! Oh how much the world has changed but human encounters remain uninterrupted.

METAL

Different metal finishes such as diamond plated metal, satin brushed metal, metal plates, perforated metal and rough metal to convey experience and atmosphere 7

FINAL PROJECT MEET & METAL

Inspired by the function of meet, I decided to create a space which allows for the exchange of ideas amongst students when they meet. Although enclosed within elements of metal, the use of glass gives a feeling of an open space. Interaction with the open

space

and

natural

environment within the area helps to soften the harsh and heavy nature of metal.
